pretty interesting interview with the director of high performance during the game.

 

What inning is it in? I think I may try and find this interview later.

Is it just me or does this feel like the first year in a long f***ing time we have had a legit competition for the rotation. Floyd not a terrible outing said he was having trouble getting footing on the mound and he wants to start. Sanchez wants to start, Chavez wants to start...... Osuna......I don't want to start lol

Norris and Estrada were battling it out for the last spot last year. Sanchez was in the mix too but he was bumped to 4th starter after the Stroman injury.

Man, Floyd staying healthy and winning a rotation spot would be awesome. I don't expect it, but a nice thought.

Aaron Loup (forearm) resumed throwing on Thursday but "didn't feel real good," according to manager John Gibbons.

Well, that's not good. Loup has struggled with forearm tightness throughout spring training and it sounds like he may have made things worse on Thursday. The Blue Jays are obviously going to shut Loup down for a while. He could be headed for an MRI. Mar 3 - 4:53 PM

Arencibia interview on the fan590... still doesn't get it. Says he was a media darling until he spoke up about Zaun and Dirk, and called that move sticking up for his team (when it was all about him). Doesn't understand the fans turned on him because he was arrogant and unwilling to try and change and learn. I feel for him in the way that it would be tough to realize so many people don't like you (as a player or your attitude), but he is still trying o completely play the victim. Kind of ridiculous.

Bautista still hasn't played in any games right? Isn't that kind of odd?

 

They've publicly stated that he won't be in any games for the first 7-10 days due to the shortened offseason last year.
