Ok....and they both were amazing for thier first 12 years....Griffey gets most votes of all time and Bagwell still isn't in. Stupid.

-one strongly suspected of roids while other didn't even lift until late in career. Guys, this stuff isn't that difficult

Let me guess, you don't think Delgado did roids either, amirite?

- still going with this lie I see. Nice

From the f***ing bbwaa website, dipshit:

The Hall of Fame now has 312 elected members, including 217 players, of which 121 have come through the BBWAA ballot. The average ballot in the 2016 election contained 7.95 names with 41.6 percent of the voters using all 10 slots.

Unless you're even dumber than I thought and don't know what the word "most" means.

Yeah weird. There's already a witch hunt gathering for the two idiots who voted for David Eckstein. There was even a MLB.com article about a case for Eckstein and it was basically just a long joke.

And two people voted for a guy with no legitimate case for the hall of fame. They probably left off Bonds too.

Everyone should leave bonds out, he used ped.

Blame mlb tv for reporting it. Way up from the 2 _3 average votes of years ago. 8.4 last year

How about I blame you for calling me a liar when you're just clueless?

But Griffey didn't, right? You know this for sure

Then your hall of fame would have zero members, talk about clueless. Ask you this.. gun to your head and you have to get the answer right to live... did Griff use ped?

Did bonds?

I do love the complete lack of outrage regarding sheffields poor voting results

I love Edmonds but hof ability but not hof career.

Can I ask why if you don't think Edmonds had a HOF career?

Edmonds - 64.5 WAR

Sheffield - 62.1 WAR

Well you're obviously a "use of PEDs or suspicions of PED use = no HOF"........my point was these two players both played 15 seasons, both put up about 80 career WAR and were both fantastic baseball players. One gets the most votes of all-time. The other still isn't in the HOF. This concept also isn't that difficult.

Pffftttttt... War, what is it good for?!

Given all the injuries Griffey had later in his career, am I the only one who thinks there's a decent chance JR dipped into the PED use (like so many others) to help speed up the recovery times? I don't necessarily understand how some people can be so firm on their suspicions of one player, but not another (enough to decide to vote for one but not the other).

Or alternatively, his injuries could have been related to steroids: http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/news-blog/nfl-players-who-use-steroids-have-m-2009-02-20/

FWIW, that's what I'd be more inclined to believe.

^ He didn't have fast recovery times and he never came back even close to the player he was

Griffey was just good. If Sosa and that piece of Garbage McGwire didn't ruin the home run records EE would be talking about Griffeys back to back 56 home runs and how close he was

Because I think over time he may have been more appreciated and possibly gotten in. What more do you really want from a guy if you think about it. GG CF defense and 903 OPS. For comparison Mccutch is 884 career ops right now.

You are incorrect, he was on the leaked failed list

And how many guys are on failed lists that didn't get leaked and we think are the greatest.

Gun to my head, I'd say both did because that would be the safest bet.

Oh yeah, and I guess my whole point about how the bbwaa is full of retards and the need for change went right over your pea sized brain, eh?

Ken Griffey Jr.

Curt Schilling

Roger Clemens

Barry Bonds

Mike Mussina

Jim Edmonds

Really hard to pick just ten...which is so perplexing since fewer than half of the voters did so.

I think this would also be my list....although I would cheat and add Larry Walker too. It's kinda funny - I wanted to kick Piazza off the list until I realised he actually graded out as a solid defensive catcher (which I never would have guessed - anyone know if he was a good framer???)

How on earth does Mussina not get in? 270 wins, 82.2 WAR pitching through the heart of the steroid era? He was unreal and retired coming off a 20-9, 4.6 WAR season......was there a reason for that? I kinda forget.

Really brilliant intellectuals typically don't use the term retards btw. It makes you sound like you didn't go to college, or at least a 4 year college and I'd like to think you are better than that. Really not hard to get under 10 this year for me:

Griffey

bagwell

McGriff

mussina

schilling

piazza

raines

What's wrong with a four year college? What's wrong with not going to college?

I'll bite, ignore Bonds/Clemens and ask:

1. How do you put McGriff on, but not Walker or Edmonds?

2. How do you put Hoffman on there, but not Billy Wagner?
