I'm not entirely sure what to do here. Stangstag is right about the process being confusing in this particular instance. I think the addendum to the rules I proposed cleans that up. I see the argument for putting Dodd back on waivers, but I also see the argument that TCA didn't do anything wrong given the current wording of the rules.

 

Basically, I'm looking for the solution to the Dodd claim that causes the least possible amount of anger.

The bigger question we have to ask is why was Dodd available in the FA pool? He should have been drafted during the prospect draft. All you guys know nothing about prospects. Someone like Dodd should already be rostered. It's embarrassing.

Updated language for the rule:

 

Unowned players with no MLB experience that are added to a real life roster can only be added at 8PM ET two days after their MLB debut. So if they debut on Tuesday, they can be added at 8PM on Thursday. Commissioners reserve the right to manually add any such player to actual waivers, and owners can request that any such players are added to waivers. Waivers should expire at least 48 hours after their MLB debut. So if a player debuts on Tuesday waivers should not expire until at least Friday.

You can leave it as is, its fine. Maybe more clarity going forward. Also I gotta add those channels or something to my fantrax because I don’t see any rn

He went undrafted in LoD as well.

I drafted a couple guys higher than him on the Braves prospect list. Some fall through the cracks

I've updated the rule 2.3 in the league constitution. Dodd will stay on TCAs team (thanks Stangstag). This situation shouldn't come up again now that we've cleaned up that section of our rules.

We should reinstate the trade chat prior to the deadline.

 

We can reinstate whenever someone wants to start one. I deleted it because I couldn't figure out how to get Stangstag access to it, and I had the power to prune it because I started it.

Okay, I processed Sabol, Dodd and Shuster on waivers... that have been illegal adds. They're game now.

 

Players come off April 6th 1AM EST

I was going to zero in on Shuster but the whole process was such a gong show, wasn’t worth my time. Apparently we’re finding out BTS attended the same commish school as the bbdl boys. Does Laila struggle with this stuff? I’ll bet you Laila at least has some proper dictator in him
