So apparently you can just copy and paste right into Excel from Yahoo and it formats properly. I just tried it. Just highlight all and unmerge cells afterwards.

 

You'll have to do this for each page individually (at least for the relevant players), but it works.

Well sure, but you'd have to do it manually every time you wanted fresh data. It can definitely be done through the API, but that requires some good programming knowledge. Ziguana would be easiest by far, if it still allows for doing that.
