Davis and the Jays only make sense if he's still on the market in February and looking for a pillow contract. Doesn't make sense at this moment at all.

Davis and the Jays makes perfect sense if you think the contract will have value.

 

1B and left handed hitting are both weak points. He's kind of young at 30 and if it's a five year commitment, that's not super dangerous. Two core bats are poised to possibly leave after 2016. Fire Smoakabello into the sun if you can actually sign Davis - who cares.
