Either there's a trick I don't know or the whole process for banning people is just ridiculously convoluted. I wish you could just click on someone's name and ban them already.

 

the safest way is to use the "mod" button at the bottom of the page and use the stand alone mod interface. If you just leave that running in the background during games it's a lot easier. Off season there isn't enough of a problem to bother keeping it open.

There are lots of black people in Sweden. They have taken in a lot of people who have come in as refugees from Africa. You'd be surprised how much the blond hair blue eyed stereotype has changed here in the last 30 years.

This guy is bringing his penny pinching ways from Cleveland to Toronto. I can't think of a more underwhelming off-season. Shapiro has literally added 20 million in payroll without adding anyone of impact. Nice.

 

I'd rather the FO penny pinch than be all-in with no wiggle room in case something catastrophic happens.

You can ban people when you delete their posts and then if you don't actually want the post banned, you can undelete it and the person stays banned. Default is perm-ban though which I didn't realize at first. You have to change that in the drop down menu. Whole thing was just a time consuming chore.

Yup. We already have plenty of impact players, they all just happen to be positional players with the exception of Stroman. The FO has done a nice job of rounding out the rotation with solid arms that will give this team an opportunity to win most nights given our lineup and solid D. They managed to do this without signing any outlandish contracts that could be devistating long term. Mission accomplished thus far I would say.

At this point I only see a couple mid tier RP signings on tye horizon and maybe a backup catcher if Thole isn't ultimately brought back. Trades are still possible but I think Shiparo wants to hold onto whatever younger assets we still have and focus on the transitional stage moving forward. Some smart money management and he could keep this team competitive for a while Imo.

Yeah. You can see them walking the tightrope this offseason. Doing everything they can to field a winner in 2015 while also stopping the bleeding of youth from the system and avoiding risky long-term deals. I think they've done a nice job. Not even remotely sexy, but they've effectively re-build the rotation on the cheap.
