Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Boxy and Dinger: Estrada vs. Dickey 2016 ERA and IP wager? I don't believe the Estrada is better. I'm in.(your side)
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 It is fair. Dinger is a huge puss I'm in, don't be a pusso.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 No, he actually deleted the post out of shame when everyone called him out on it. His account was deleted way after he deleted the post. He than, proceeded to say he was joking, lol.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Adam Warren was pretty decent as a starter this season. Yankees though probably keep him in the pen. Other guys are Alex Colome, Carlos Frias, Chris Bassitt. Charlie Morton could be an interesting target. Still under control for 2016 + an option and could likely be dangled by the Pirates for a particular need. He's more of a groundball pitcher obviously so not the same arsenal as Estrada. Throw Rich Hill in there.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I don't mind this quote when talking about current Jays. I'll just never believe that you can bring in chemistry. Also would like to note that anyone hoping for Zimmerman can now forget about it. That Washington Clubhouse was a mess and I can see AA avoiding it 100%. Speaking of...how in the hell does Rizzo still have a job? No s***, lol @ Baker. *smh*
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Did anyone ever tell you that you have a really douchey way of approaching discussions? You could have approached this topic in any number of sensible ways but already you make it sould like you're looking for a fight. Sorry bro, this goes back. Trust me, i'm not the one who initiated this s***.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Sorry bro, this goes back. Trust me, i'm not the one who initiated this s***. Except you are. It was dead. No one was talking about it. Digging up old s*** = initiating.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I guess when you're wrong 90% of the time you need to brag on the few points you get right to feel better. I like for you to provide some examples on where i'm wrong 90% of the time. Fitting on where the only two likes you got came from.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Team chemistry, much like God, is assumed not to exist, by those can not see. Lol Greenwood. You crack me up
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Yes, because Russell Martin and Josh Donaldson weren't massive production upgrades. Just good clubhouse guys, for the most part. Estrada trade Colabello signing Smoak signing Giving Goins the rope he deserved Getting rid of Reyes Getting rid of Valencia That's just off the top of my head that happened this year. Anything else you wish to add?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 The ironic is that if we do this a couple more years... make the playoffs but not the World Series, the "character" of this team will start becoming a problem again. As soon as next year if the Jays build a power house, win 100 and lose to a play off series to a luck-plucky team people will start questioning the character of the team. LOL.. No they won't.

Anything else you wish to add? Jose Reyes is like the best teammate, why would his departure be a boost to team chemistry?

Anything else you wish to add? Trading Valencia and Reyes helped clubhouse chemistry? lol, ok. "Giving Goins the rope he deserved"... did AA take a bat to Travis' shoulder during nap time? If we're talking about team chemistry, Colabello, Smoak, and Estrada are probably the three regulars who influenced it the least. Pretty quiet and boring guys. NOT REALLY SURE WHAT YOUR POINT WAS BRO

NOT REALLY SURE WHAT YOUR POINT WAS BRO So you know what goes on off the field and in the actual clubhouse, road team meals, etc..? I'm just going on what AA stated in his press conference, which by the way is known to exist since the game began. Combo talent / character guys are the obvious way to go, be it takes patience and hard work to obtain it.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 If the chemistry was so great why didn't they win the ALCS? Explain that. You can't.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 If the chemistry was so great why didn't they win the ALCS? Explain that. You can't. Well because they couldn't score a runner from 3rd with 0 out. Dammit
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 So you know what goes on off the field and in the actual clubhouse, road team meals, etc..? No, but you obviously do so you are clearly #blessed.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Jose Reyes is like the best teammate, why would his departure be a boost to team chemistry? He was obviously a good friend but wasn't very professional. The dude would be laughing hysterically in the dugout during games, no matter what the situation was. How the f*** can a team consistently keep their game faces on when one of the most talented / highest paid players is a clown?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 No, but you obviously do so you are clearly #blessed. So you're the type of poster that reads the first sentence of a post and then rushes to respond in a witty manner before reading the rest? Is was only another two lines for f*** sakes! LOL
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Derp You took me off ignore bro? Bless you my child.

Pretty neat that you ignored the word "probably" and then didn't process that the logic is pretty sound. Where's the assumption? It's like you have a pentium II in a world of quad cores Look who's calling the kettle black. Crawl back into your foxhole f*** head. Use your own insult f*** head!
