Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Royals postseason MVP --> http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/visual/whatshot/480calebhumphreysball.jpg No doubt. He affected their chances more than any single player, as sad as that is.
candymartinez Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Even with the WS win I can't call KC the best team.
nucker101 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hate them, but they were clutch and have a deep ass team. Congrats to them.
baubau Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Time to trade for Harvey......he and the Mets probably hate each other so much right now. Why would you want to trade for him?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 No doubt. He affected their chances more than any single player, as sad as that is. Along with Carlos Correa.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Yep I think I only remember a few times where I didn't watch a celebration of a major championship. Exceptions probably being Alabama Football National Championships, and Kentucky Basketball. Cowboys football too Roll tide!
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 well i guess its time to trade away our hr hitters and get some of those clutch single hitters!
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Mets were pathetic. ALCS was way more entertaining. Congrats Royals. Congrats Hosmer, aka Mr Clutch.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 No doubt. He affected their chances more than any single player, as sad as that is. I would argue with that and say that they review umpire in NY had a larger impact because this guys impact should have been removed from the equation because the review shows his gloves hitting onto front of the wall with the ball in it?
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Why would you want to trade for him? Ya he suxxx
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Roll tide! did you know that every time someone says "Roll Tide" Bama claims another ******** national title? true story
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Salvador Perez seems like a pretty likeable dude. My love of baseball certainly takes over right now. Congrats again to the Royals.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Salvador Perez seems like a pretty likeable dude. . wouldn't want to have too many conversations with him though.

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 A red camaro? A think a blue when would've sufficed for this series.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 wouldn't want to have too many conversations with him though. I'd love to pick his brain via Chris Colabello.

Ehjays Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 well i guess its time to trade away our hr hitters and get some of those clutch single hitters! Forget clutch singles hitters .....get a bullpen assembled that SLAMS the door and gives your team a chance to win each and every game.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I went to bed when it was 2-0 Mets. I woke up and checked my phone and am not surprised to see they blew it. What the hell happened? Ah well. Royals earned it. Good on 'em.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I enjoy how a huge part of "Royals Baseball" involves hitting routine balls right at opposing players and daring them not to f*** up. They are definitely a well-constructed team but they should've lost 5-6 games this postseason alone which they wound up winning. Good on them for taking advantage but I just can't call them anything more than the luckiest f***ing team I've ever watched.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Anyone going to Spring training?

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 You don't luck your way into back to back World Series' Who said they did last year?
JaysFanInEnemyTerritory Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 The Royals bandwagoning reminds me of those goddamn Seahawks fans who came out of nowhere. I want to see that team dismantled and ruined back to obscurity in the next 5 years....
nextyear Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) Royals postseason MVP --> http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/visual/whatshot/480calebhumphreysball.jpg Personally, I don't think that play had much to do with the Blue Jays losing. Didn't that home run occur with no outs? Even if it was called a double then the Kansas City Royals would have almost certainly drove the base runner in, by other means, since they were clutch in driving in runs with none out. The two bad strike calls (one on Navarro and an obvious one on Revere) in the top of the 9th inning had a huge influence on the outcome. If Revere had of gotten the obvious ball called a ball then there is a very good chance that he would have gotten a ground ball or fly ball to at least tie the game. As much as I believe that Kansas City has a good team, I feel the Blue Jays were cheated by the umpire. If the Blue Jays had won game 6 then I think they would have most likely won game 7. In that game 6 I feel worst for Dalton Pompey who managed to get to 3rd base on two steals; he would have been one of the heroes of the game if the Blue Jays had of won. I am glad the World Series is over, every time I see that KC team I become bitter again at the terrible umpiring in the 9th inning of game 6. As much as I dislike the KC Royals, I am somewhat glad that they won because I can believe that the Blue Jays were just as good (I won't say 2nd best). PS: I think the fan who had the biggest effect was the one who called "I got it" "I got it" in game 2 (the fans were being relatively quiet at the time and I could hear it on TV). That's kind of nice.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Well, Ned Yost is about to be a WS winning manager. Pretty definitive proof managers don't mean s*** with how the Royals have done the last 2 years, at least. Was Collins worse? I didn't watch many of the games.
