Gibby has investments riding on this game and is shilling for Kansas city management due to his ties with the club from a couple years ago. This is the only explanation I can think of for this game. There's no way this is not intentional sabotage of the game.

Gibbons has been atrocious this year and even worse in the playoffs but the roster has been terrible for the most part too. Martin and Price are playoff chokers, Revere dissapeared, Donaldson and Bautista didn't play as well as what they did in the regular season, Tulo was Tulo, Dickey was Dickey. The only players that came to play this postseason was Stroman, Pillar, Goins and Collabello. That isn't a recipe that will get you to the world series.

In any case, this planet earth is relatively less than a speck of dust in the galaxy, which is relatively less than a speck of dust in the universe. So even if the Kansas City Royals win, it just doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things.
