And why would they be playing the infield in? Gonna concede that run if it gets by (like it did). This is deliberate poor management. You could get someone who doesn't even know what baseball is to manage better than gibby has by chance.

As long as Osuna or Lowe still have an arm attached to their shoulder, one of them should have been in with the bases loaded and none out there. Unbelievable.

 

All season he refused to use our best relievers if they are behind at all. He will, though, use all of them with any kind of lead at all.

Sad how this game was in reach coming into the inning, we all knew putting in Hawkins was a mistake and there you go. Begs the question again, why in the f*** sdid you play Lowe and Osuna with a big lead last night? You need your best relievers for the close games. Embarrassing, truly a clusterf*** masterpiece.

I was thinking that earlier. He;s never really had an extended chance to start. Could be a useful starter for league min.

Ya f gibbons for sure... But I hate how quickly people throw Donaldson or Bautista or whomever under the bus for not performing in a given at bat. It does feel like Gibbons miss management has cost us everything though.

 

Nah. Most people here are blaming the right people: Dickey, Hawkins and of course, Gibbons.

Blue Jays can still win tomorrow. If they win it then they have another chance to tie the series in game 6. Then game 7 is a toss up. (there is a very slim chance, but at least we get to see one more game tomorrow).

Not with the way Gibbons is managing this series.

 

They don't have a chance in hell if that continues.

Hawkins has no ability to miss bats. Has an arrow straight fastball with no consistent breaking ball. He basically needs luck to be successful.

 

 

Martin calling another s*** game..it's all on martin.
