Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 fukkkkkk we had our chances
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Jays are still hungover from Wednesday it seems like very unlike them. Take pitches and choose your spots
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Come on boys..... back to back 2-0 counts and you can't hit
Floortom Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 we had plenty of chances the last three innings. disapointing
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 can't watch anymore, try tmr
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I like the approach of swinging when Madson can't find the strike zone, but taking pitches right down the middle with Volquez. This game was absolute ass. Move on to Game 2, please.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Not sure, but I don't see why they would've DFA'd him if he wasn't. Had to do with cutting salary in the overall roster I think.Still wouldn't he be great in games like this right now
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 We'll get em tomorrow, at least we worked a lot of counts and walks. Just couldn't get that big hit. Let's hope EE is back as Smoak has just been rotten as of late.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Had to do with cutting salary in the overall roster I think.Still wouldn't he be great in games like this right now Yeah but he was a more valuable bench piece than several other players on the roster.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Valencia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smoak

DonnysManbun Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Davis will blow it in the 9th, everything so far is opposite of what would normally happen
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 LaTroy "White flag" Hawkins
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Fingers don't heal overnight trust me He's been dealing with this injury for the entire second half.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Price, Stro, and Dickey in the next 3, with two being at home. Sucks losing game 1, but I like the team's chances in the next 3.
Corporal Valdal Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Yeah but he was a more valuable bench piece than several other players on the roster. Agreed but AA at the time didn't think so. Still his only puzzling move of the year so far
Travis_Snider Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 looks like a Somali pirate
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I'd put Pompey in right, Bautista at DH and Bello at 1st if Eddie is hurt.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Fingers don't heal overnight trust me No, and with EE we've seen him need 2-4 games off a few times this year. I don't like that he's getting an xray, just hope it's nothing more serious than in the past.
Professional Hitter Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Can't stand how Joe Buck goes straight for controversy. Such lazy speculative commentary.
Mowich Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Hopefully they worked the last vestige of champagne from their systems and they will be in better form tomorrow. Ah s***, the first pitch to hit a player and Hawkins nails it. s***.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 For some reason they seem to be in an "all-or-nothing" mode right now. Swing for the fences every time you're up. They've gotten runners on tonight and failed to advance them or score them. They had a lot of missed opportunities to do the same in the Texas series. If they want to win this series, and even the World Series, they're going to have to score without relying on the home run so much, and giving the pitcher outs by swinging at their pitches. Umpires haven't helped with having some strange zones in some games either.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 I'd put Pompey in right, Bautista at DH and Bello at 1st if Eddie is hurt. That's not going to happen.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
