Seems like Smoak's MO when he comes in to PH, even throughout the season; get into a hitter's count, then pop one up in a tight/late situation. It's like he's trying to drive the ball every time he comes into an AB like that. Just go with what the pitcher gives you. Don't try to put it in the stands. That can be said about quite a few hitters though.
