I will be incapacitated from about 3pm on today. If we lose my girlfriend and ex both joke (sort of) that they will put me on suicide watch. It will take me days to process. But we are going to win these games so it's allll good. Playoffs game 11 tonight. Bring it on.

Our chances of winning the series went from 50% to 20% in about 10 minutes last Saturday... I guess this could be worse.

If we get a big lead the chances chances of winning the series go back to almost 50% (ie if it's a 95% chance of winning tonight, and then 50 tomorrow).

If we blow that lead fast the chances could go from 50 to 0... so that would be pretty devastating... otherwise we allready experienced the biggest probability drop.

So PECOTA on BP has the Jays' odds tonight at 58%.

Steamer thinks Stroman is slightly better than Cueto (3.3 fWAR in 192 innings for Stroman vs. 2.9 fWAR in 210 innings for Cueto).

+ Cueto hasn't looked like himself very much lately, including his terrible start earlier this series.

Call it 58% chance to win for both games.

So, ~34% chance of making the world series?

29% if you think Stroman-Cueto is a coin flip game.

Fangraphs has Toronto's ALCS odds at 25.5%, which you'd get from two coinflip games. I'm not really sure how they would get that number. Toronto would be projected for better position player performance, all things considered, and better SP performance in both games... hmmm

98.2 avg velocity for Syndergaard and hes a starter FFS.

He is so good. Just not fair. RA did touch 84 with a FB in Game 4 ....the bad news is Rios hit it 420 ft.

lol

I know RA got better with throwing harder, but it's not as good if he doesn't change speeds during a game. he NEEDS to have a few in the high 60s as well as the 80mph knuckleball. throwing in an eephus pitch now and then is a good thing.

Lost in all this is the godly display Jose put on in clutch situations.

Last player to hit a tying/go ahead Homer in LCS in 8th or later was Aaron Boone with his iconic HR.

That on top of his legendary knock in ALDS game 5. This man is 35 and I hope we can give him one more good run next year, he deserves a WS title in my estimation.

I'll never forget how he made me feel twice in 10 days, magical memories.

Yeah man. Bautista is a baseball God. The haters can suck it. Especially that s*** for brains journalist who wrote an article on Bautista's "arrogance" and "whining".

His homer today was the clutchest f***ing hit since Freese's walkoff shot in the 2011 WS. You know what, I think it may even be clutcher than that, considering that they were 5 outs way from elimination and down 2 runs.

Imagine Revere/Donaldson walked and Bautista was up with the bases loaded. If he came through in that spot people would be calling it one of if not the best playoff performances in the history of the game.

Love that man. Glad we have him signed through next season hes had an incredible run for us and will add another Silver slugger in the world. With that being said need to address his defensive position moving forward. His bat speed remains elite, his plate discipline is elite but his defense is suspect. I think hes going to age well as a hitter but we will better and he likely will stay healthier playing first base/DH. We can always stick him im the OF if needed. I expect his arm to be 100% healthy again as well.

i love the guy; his swag and all and he was clutch... so right on

but don't forget about his defense... just say'in

have to take back my comment; what i was referring to above was tonight's missed cut-off. having a chance to listen to both jays and royals interviews, i don't think i can pin it on JB; we were out-coached; they saw our tendencies and capitalized on it; and by being out-coached, i don't mean it's gibby's fault either but there's no doubt that we were out-maneuvered there....

i still want gibby out though

Never forget it...he showed up massively when it mattered most. I hope our fans don't ever forget it either. Now move him to 1B for the love of god.

My final thoughts on a disappointing series.

It's awful tough to win a series when your ace loses twice. If Price had won one game, we'd still be playing.

I don't know what our final batting average with running in scoring position was. Let's say it was .200, though I think it was lower. Awful tough to win a playoff series with a batting average like that.

A man on third with nobody out on in the top of the ninth down one. And you can't score that run. You don't deserve to go the World Series.

We lost Game Six with Donaldson at the dish and having thrown Price - Sanchez - Osuna. We lost with our best. The f***ing Cy Young winner and MVP, quite possibly.

I give full credit to the Royals. I'm not saying they're the better team, but they were this series. I hope they get crushed by the Mets and lose the World Series again. f*** KC.
