havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Gallardo is awful. I'm not expecting him to get to the 5th inning on Thursday. Agreed.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Sounds about right. So this isn't you right now? Texas is clearly confident.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Kazmir has been dreadful for awhile now, tough matchup for the Astros, but I'm cheering for them.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Gallardo is awful. I'm not expecting him to get to the 5th inning on Thursday. From what I remember, he threw A LOT of junk to the Jays in both starts and not a ton of fastballs. Jays just weren't seeing the pitches that well out of his hand... I expect that to change as well.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Given all this talk about how Gallardo "stymies" the Blue Jays, I hope they rip him to shreds on Thursday. Gallardo is a f***ing houdini act and Texas fans know it. If he gets himself into as much trouble as he typically does the Jays have a really good chance to smash him, regardless of how he beat them earlier in the season.

Yeah they have a likeable team. Correa, Springer, Altuve, Gattis etc etc I would love to see a Jays/Astros ALCS. Can't look past Texas obviously.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 So this isn't you right now? I was commenting on how a lot of people from Texas generally can't pronounce and/or spell to save their lives.
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Apparently Rangers fans and players are thrilled to be playing the Blue Jays. They own David Price. Never heard of Marcus Stroman and Donaldson, Bautista, and Encarnacion struggle in Arlington. We are approaching bulletin board material no?

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Does this game count towards regular season stats as a game 163 or does this count as a playoff game?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Lol. He misses TOR. Not. What a down and in meatball Tanaka threw him tonight. He feasts on that pitch all day long. Still a dangerous hitter when he is hot.

comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Revere,Goins,Pillar, and Smoak will feast on Gallardo.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 He kinda looks like a wrestler.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Does this game count towards regular season stats as a game 163 or does this count as a playoff game? Like others it should be playoffs. It was odd to see them reference the HR #s in addition to regular season like 13th for Gomez.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Colby I'm not even surprised.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 He kinda looks like a wrestler. he'd have to roid up a little but he could look there for a life after baseball if Hunting and fishing isn't as fulfilling as he thinks. lol
flafson Verified Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I honestly don't know how Yankees think it's a good idea to change their lineup 180 degrees game to game. Every day they have a different 3-4-5-6 combination out there.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Racking up lots of frequent flyer miles this month I see Too many. road warrior. usually over 100 flites a year. but travelling to Jays games I like! Just got a note from my friend leaving Yukon for tomorrows game in TOR and he will miss his connection in Van. Crazy what we do to get to Jays games. Looking forward to tonights WC - great pitching match up!
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 What is with all the freaking bat flips? When did Astros and Yankees strike up a rivalry... or are these idiots just disrespectul to the game and sportsmanship?

Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Was one of them Garlos Gomez? Both Rasmus and Gomez did it, like they were challenged to hit a HR or something. I wanted Yankees to win and punch Rasmus' face after I saw that. Freakin... such lack of class.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Seriously..why do people want baseball player's to act like Robots. The game needs more Yasiel Puigs, Marcos Stromans and Jobe Chamberlins

Correction the list would be a lot shorter if we listed the people that don't. JD, Bau, and Edwin all pimp Grinke even bat flips. You act like this is a odd act for home run hitters. It happens every game almost. I forget which pitcher said it but if you don't like have home runs pimped don't throw bad pitches.
