Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 SSS but Derek Law has been excellent for the Bisons. He's not currently on the 40 man though, correct?
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Biggio has a homerun today, Gurriell also still killing it. SRF is cooked though. Gurriel is a AAAA player

Ray Verified Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Casey Mize just pitched a no-hitter in his AA debut. 9IP 1BB 7K in 98 pitches. Kid is a stud.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Hector Perez: 2.2 IP, 4 H, 6 ER, 6 BB, 3 K. Now has allowed 15 walks in 16 innings. ERA over 10. Forrest Wall so far is 2-3 with a walk. He's had a pretty damn good start to the season.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Author Posted April 30, 2019 Christ. Mix in a strike would you, Hector?

A burner in CF with OBP chops and a reasonable K%? Sign me up.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Warmoth has a pulse. 6 game hit streak. 109 wRC+ on the season now.

Perez, Paulino, and SRF in the pen might be pretty decent. I haven't completely given up hope on starting for Paulino, but that's more wishful thinking at this point. I think all three would work well in the pen.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Davis' back and hitting very well out of the gate. Davis also is already on the 40 man and had a September call up last year, so we'll likely see him up at some point. He's almost certainly nothing, but that's still better than Brito haha.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 In 26 1/3 innings, MacKenzie Gore has an ERA of 1.37, and he's struck out 38 hitters with just 4 walks.

Best pitching prospect in baseball. I think Brownie19 just look the lead for poster of the year. Edited April 30, 2019 by jays4life19

That would be our worst bullpen ever, someone always on base.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 That would be our worst bullpen ever, someone always on base. Well if they maintain their walk rates in a relief role (SRF and Perez in particular) then they'll be out of the league. Maybe focusing on 1 or 2 pitches and pitching an inning will help them. I don't think either one will be able to improve the control enough to start.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 That would be our worst bullpen ever, someone always on base. That's a silly take, mate.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Best pitching prospect in baseball. Casey Mize 35 IP 7 hits 2 BB 32 K 1 run has something to say.
