Hang onto your hat Metafour... :P

There's 12 players from the FYPD in BA's latest in season top 100 update...

Tiedemann has fallen a bit more to 50 as expected, but Orelvis has jumped up big to 67 from 99.

Alex De Jesus is having a very nice bounce back season this year, same double digit BB%, K rate's down nearly 9%, his ISO has sky rocketed over 100 points to .238, has a normal/comfortable BABIP of 317 and a .wOBA of .371 this is great news, he came out ice cold IIRC like Orelvis. Nice.

So was De Jesus not ranked but just a name to watch or something?

No, that was my own tidbit, lol. He's not on the 100. I'm certain he'll jump up in our top 30 though, no doubt. Dude's slugging just shy of .500 at A+ as a 21 year old.

Oh wow that was really well written. Good job I thought it was from BA. lol

Hahaha... seriously though, the rumour is Orelvis is moving up to Buffalo and I believe De Jesus will move up to New Hampshire coinciding with that move if that's the case. If he can transition to double A withstanding some minimal growing pains, he could be in the 75-125 range.

Atkins playing 4D chess making everything think he traded Frasso for White when he was really trading for De Jesus.

Not a great chess player clearly.

De Jesus's stats in A+ for a 21 year old are more impressive than Frasso's as a 24 year old in AA.

Not saying De Jesus is a better prospect, but before the season De Jesus was a 40FV and Frasso was a 40+. They aren't as far apart as the Frasso Fanboys think.

I said they were similar last deadline, man. It was a good trade. Haha!!!

I think some of you are dreaming on De Jesus way to much. But I would love if you’re right.

I’m trying to find the article but it was from 2015-2022 for teams that have produced the most MLB talent in the draft and I think the Jays were around 7th with 13% of their drafted players making the big leagues. Top team was around 16% and bottom 7% which I think was the Braves.
Any luck finding that? Would like to read it.

No different than how people are dreaming on Frasso.

Davis Schneider hit another homer yesterday. Up to a .941 OPS now with a .400+ OBP and 23% K-Rate.

How legit is he?

Won't know until he gots a shot. He should have replaced Espinal weeks ago.

Curious to see how the Jays view him. He seems like a probable trade piece as he’s close to big leagues, putting up good numbers at a reasonable age, and might not have a clear shot at playing time on a team that has a shrinking competitive window (at least with the current core). Atkins needs to start incorporating more cheap young talent on the field that can punch significantly above their financial weight so guys like Schneider replacing the Biggio’s on the roster would make a lot of sense but all comes down to how the FO views him.

I feel Second Base is wide open next season. And that's his primary position although he's played multiple of others. Merrifield is a free agent. And I doubt they view Biggio/Espinal as a suitable platoon.

Third Base could also be open. I would say likely open as I think someone will give Chapman the bag despite his inconsistent play.

Barger is starting to show a pulse. Slashing .268/.333/.468 in July.

I read somewhere that he might need surgery after the season. Hopefully he can at least salvage this year and show that he's ready for a 2024 callup.

I think Davidi mentioned he'll need elbow surgery this fall as it's swinging that is causing his issues.

Perfect just in time to be traded at the deadline with Zulu for Stroman.

I'm really excited to see how he does. Breaking balls have always been the issue for him, at least from what I have seen on the radio. AAA is going to be a big litmus test.

Teach me how to see games on the radio please.

I'm not going to allow someone to lie about me and take unreasonable actions without fighting back a bit. I had something more to point, but this is a fair compromise.
