Justin Maese's first inning of baseball in a full season league in 4 years comes out of the pen with Vancouver last night. Little wild with 16 pitches and only 6 strikes. Didn't give up any hits, 1 walk and 1 strikeout. Apparently was hitting 95 per someone on twitter who may or may not be in the know.

If he was any good he wouldn't have given up that hit

SWR had a rough 4th inning. He struck out two more, but he gave up 3 hits and a walk as well. He would have gotten out of it with minimal damage but f***ing Samad Taylor made an error at 3B that would have ended the inning.

Gameday froze on the Buffalo game so we can track Manoah's results :(

5 Ks through 3, no runs given up. I'm listening to the game. No hits, no walks. Just one hit batter. Perfect game is done, no hitter in tact.

No runs, no hits, no walks...

I believe he hit a batter though.

Rowdy just hit a homer to the deepest part of the park. He needs to get some confidence going.

Ok watching on MiLB tv guys! Manoah looks dynamic so far.

4IP, 1H, 0R, 8K, 0BB, 3HBP, 61 pitches

Can feasibly go another 2 innings

8 K's through 4 for Manoah, 3 hit batters, 1 single.

Keep an eye out for Rafael Monsion in Dunedin as well. Had a great 2019 in the GCL. Gets his first apperance with Dunedin tonight, brought in mid inning with a runner on and despite his defense immediately making an error he strikes out 3 in a row and has now gone 2 innings with 4 K's and no hits

I’ve seen enough. CALL HIM UP!

Watched his start on MiLB tv, he looked electric. Unhittable and fully in control of what he's doing.

He may have hit three batters, but it's not a result of being erratic, more so, game plan, as he pitched deep inside to every batter.

Final line:

6IP, 2H, 0R, 0BB, 12K, 3HBP, 81P

22 batters faced.

12 K

3 HBP

2 1B

4 GO

1 FO

Is he definitely done? At 81 pitches probably. But maybe he comes out for the 7th.

Frank German got destroyed couldn’t even get out of the first inning.

So what's the skinny on Nick Allgeyer?

Is he a real live prospect or filler? Just turned 25, and they plopped him right onto the AAA rotation skipping AA, which must mean he did well last year at the alt site.

Yeah he's done, I think he was on a 80 pitch count and made full use of every pitch :D.

Manoah was the chosen pitching prospect all along?

He was taken 11th overall in the first round and he was the 2nd pitcher selected in 2019. We should have high expectations for him. He's definitely delivering. I can't wait to see him in june or July!

Agreed....why waste his "innings" for too long in the minors!

I know he probably needs some innings in the minors but June/July sounds good.

Crafty lefty. Doesn't throw that hard as far as I know. Might end up in the uniform some day but don't expect him to be better than Tommy Milone or whoever.
