Such a terrible comp, they aren't even close.

Well he is wearing Burnett's number :)

Honestly if we're throwing outlandish comps his stuff is much more similar to Halladay's with the sinker and big 12-6 curve.

Ah, you gotta love the low minors defenses lol.

Yep, 1st run caused by an error and 2nd caused by a wild pitch (who knows is a catcher at a higher level blocks it, but could be possible)

So far.

5IP, 4H, 2R, 0ER, 1BB, 7K (78P 53S)

Looks like this could be his final line:

6IP, 5H, 3R, 2ER (credited the wild pitch to him), 1BB, 8K (89P 59K)

All of a sudden it looks like soon we will have 3 to 4 top pitching prospects

Yep, Nate YYZ, SWR, Manoah, & Kloff look like future top 50 prospects with their stuff, size, swing & miss, and control.

Imagine signing Cole this offseason and backfilling with those above names over the next 1-3 years?

Until then, you'd have Kay, Murphy, Zeuch, Thornton holding down the fort as cheap controllable 4/5 types.

Guys, 18 yr old J-Rod went 5-5 yesterday with 2 doubles and a triple.

Now slashing .587/.620/.891 after more than 50 PA in high A.

Cal league caveat

20 for his last 35 isn't bad. Supposedly he's made some amazing robberies in centre as well. Even though everyone has him pegged as future RF.

TJ Zeuch so far: 5IP, 5H, 2BB, 1ER, 0K, 68 pitches,

Yeah, you read that right. 0 strikeouts in 5 innings. It's baffling to the point where it's kind of impressive.

10 GO/FB, lol. 68 pitches to 42 strikes.

FSL season is over due to Hurricane Dorian.

Hatch now has 34 K's and 2 BB's in 35 innings and a +50% GB rate since the trade. He turns 25 next month so not a youngin, but add him to the list of AAA SP depth in 2020. The more, the better.

FSL Awards handed out. 4 Dunedin players, although Cal Stevenson is now an Astro.

Dunedin led the way with four All-Star representatives -- outfielder Ryan Noda, outfielder Cal Stevenson (who was traded to the Astros on July 31), starting pitcher Maximo Castillo and reliever Brad Wilson. Blue Jays skipper Cesar Martin was named FSL Manager of the Year after leading the Toronto affiliate to a 79-55 record entering play Thursday. The Blue Jays won the first-half North Division title and hold a two-game lead over Lakeland for the second-half crown as well.

NWL Awards handed out, too. Kloffenstein the lone Vancouver rep.

Adam Kloffenstein, Toronto's 11th-ranked prospect, rivals Olivero as one of the league's top pitchers. In 13 starts with Vancouver, the 2018 third-round pick is 4-4 and ranks second in the league in ERA (2.24) and innings pitched (64 1/3). A third-round pick in 2018, the right-hander is tied for second with 64 strikeouts and places third with a 1.09 WHIP.

I wouldn't. He's only made a handful of starts there. Let him get in 10 starts or so, then move him up to AA when the weather improves (assuming he continues to dominate).

I think with those numbers, he may. We may have something good in that kid.
