Olivares also has 4 HR in the last 6 games. 21 year old showing some real power.

I'd love to see the BB% get back up to 8-9% for Olivaras. Still developing nicely.

Bichette: 3 for 4, two 2B.

Up to .388

Sounds like he may be one of two farm prospects (Guerrero is the other) who is pretty much untouchable.

I've never thought there was much of difference between A and High A. I don't think it does anything to their development to keep them in Lansing...but I suspect they will make the leap soon.

No ones untouchable I'd trade them both for trout

I know it's low minors, but can you remember a time where the bluejays had two position player prospects better or equal to this? They are both pretty much at the top of the league in batting and only one other player in the top 20 (ops) are in their teens (still older then both). I mean that's pretty incredible. I remember in 2012, pumped every night looking at the Lansing Boxscore and seeing how well Pillar was doing and he was 23 at the time.

With the way the Angels are setup, basically projected to be a .500 team into the foreseeable future, I don't think that is that bad a move for them.

Angels could get a haul for trout that could make a rebuild much quicker. But trading Trout would be one of the hardest things to do though.

Vernon Wells and Michael Young were both on the 1998 Hagerstown team. I know Young wasn't really a top tier prospect, and neither put up earth shattering numbers that season, but in retrospect, then both had damn good ML careers.

Francisco Mejia is going to be elite. Leads the EL in AVG, SLG, OPS. 7th youngest player in the league. Double-plus arm from behind the plate. Just 21 K's in 38 games played.

In related Eastern League news, Danny Jansen is a dude for sure.

I think it's great to have, I rate top bats really high in comparison to pitchers. I'm just saying that I think it does nothing different to their development to move them to the FSL, in comparison to keeping them in the MWL. Either way they both would likely be in AA next year.

So here is a list of guys I like to follow in the minnors (when they are not injured). What pitchers should I add to the mix and what players are missing?

Vladimir Guerrero Jr

Bo Bichette

Anthony Alford

Danny jannsen

Max Pentecost

Lourdes Gurriel

I would add Jordan Romano and Sean Reid Foley as pitchers. Bradley Jones and Josh Palacios are guys I'd follow as hitters as well.

Fun question: If you could only keep 1 of Vlad or Bo who do you keep?

Well what the f*** happens to the other one. I need some context.

Trading Trout is about as much of a no-win scenario as it can get. The best player in any trade involving Trout, will always be Trout, no matter how many prospects and/or players you get back.

That depends on what year you think you can contend. Based on the Angels current situation, that might be the 2022 version of Trout....and yes, he'll likely still be amazing then too, but there's a chance he's not. Let's be honest, the Angel's f***ing suck. Awful organization. We'll probably be talking 10-20 years from now about how awful it was to watch Trout waste away on a bottom feeding organization for all those years.

Oliveras over Palacios all day.

I'd trade them both for Trout tomorrow.

I'd trade the entire farm system for Trout, and will probably have to throw in more stuff after.
