He said he wouldnt come out of the pen to get 200

But our bullpen is coming down with a case of the hangover after we clinch tomorrow (with a double win, with a KC loss) and buerhle becomes necessary

He can start. Throw 2 innings and than replace him.

Why hate him peroid. He plays gold glove defense and has over 4 WAR for the season. Not bad for a 32nd round pick.

for 500k

That catch was simply legit....awesome Pillar. Thing of beauty.

Who? Lol definitely not the answers I expected

You must be very young not to have heard of those players. Larry Walker is about my favorite player of all time, being a Canadian and former Expo.

Its Buehrle's throw day anyway. He usually throws 25-30 pitches. He will be fine on Sunday.

Even the guys from the 73 team. All stars.

He's a good player but seems super cocky in his interviews tbh

no, that's contempt for Barry Davis, but easy to make that mistake.

hmm...when my kid was 5 and when he was 6 in different seasons Pillar took pics with him...signed autographs and spoke to us quite a bit . He seems very humble and soft spoken. super nice to the kids. I never get that cocky perception from him at all

In an amazing season, Pillar has been one of my favourite stories I think. Written off as a career AAAA player for much of his time here, pushed behind Saunders and Pompey at the start of spring training; it's hard not to like the guy.

Want to see Donaldson hit Jackie Robinson's number next please. He's been hammering the ball all night.

Yea he's due for a bomb. Should have 3 hits tonight.

He comes off as pretty likable to me. According to our very own Dr. Dinger, who casually ran into him on the street, he's a very humble guy.

Also, he went from 32nd round to having a 4-win season in his second full-year, while being in consideration for the Gold Glove. He's allowed to be a bit cocky.

1973 Braves: Davey Johnson (43), Darrell Evans (41), Hank Aaron (40)

1996 Rockies: Andres Galarraga (47), Vinny Castilla (40), Ellis Burks (40) + Dante Bichette (31)

1997 Rockies: Andres Galarraga (41), Vinny Castilla (40), Larry Walker (49) + Ellis Burks (31)

I figured it would be a really small list. surprised the Yankees aren't on it. thanks.

More confident than anything. I don't see the issue?
