The idea that Price cares more about a single game contributing to his Cy Young chance than resting and being fully prepared for a deep postseason run is laughable. Even if he did, why the hell would the Blue Jays care about it? Price has thrown a ton of innings. Jays are guaranteed at least a 5 game set. Get everyone ready.

2. Not sure how you failed to comprehend this one. My point is, one bad start out of 11, against a team he's been bad against in his previous starts is hardly cause for concern. Keep up

 

3. When did I say it was the same? Its about getting your work in and keeping your arm healthy. You can control a sim game much more than a real one. That includes amount of pitches in an inning, batters faced (L v R), and work on certain pitches in certain situations without having to stress about results. If YOU don't understand that, theres no point in talking to you anymore.

Carrasco costs more because he's young, very good and controllable.

 

Donaldson is different in that he is heading past his prime years and will be very expensive arbitration wise.

 

We had a deal for Carrasco that fell apart that was centered around Hoffman, Norris + one more (Pompey I believe) and it was scrapped at the last minute.
