Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Not saying he does but it still would be ideal. its the f***ing orioles man
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 DOUBLE HEADER TOMORROW Dammit It's certainly not ideal however that's a lot of Jays baseball to watch.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 f*** off Yankees. Why? They aren't winning the division either way.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 It's certainly not ideal however that's a lot of Jays baseball to watch. So happy i'm not working tomorrow and only have class until 11:30
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Start getting that champagne ready in Baltimore. Yanks now down 9-4 after Blake Swihart just hit his 2nd HR of the game. Bryan Mitchell is garbage..it shows how bad the Yanks pen is outside of the trio of Wilson/Betances/Miller.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Clinch tomorrow game 1, party in the dugout game 2 while buffalo takes the reigns!!! Bad time for that cuz home field advantage will be a huge benefit. After they cinch the division and best record in the league they can celebrate within limits as their whole focus should now be on the WS. Celebrating is important cuz it's a huge milestone however focusing on the main, elusive goal is of paramount importance. After that they can celebrate every day and every night till Spring 2016.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Dickey will get the Stroman effect. Swag can't be passed on to old men though. The Stroman effect will be that Dickey's start will only concern the overall AL top seed race. The AL East crown will be decided already.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The Red Sox team is very good right now. I am glad they are playing the Yankees.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Rajai Davis just struck out swinging on three pitches literally every one having bounced in the dirt Tigers announcers ripping him
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 You caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan putindabooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard, yessssss!!! 2 run homer Eaton, 3-0 White Sox.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Finishing ahead of the Royals is extremely important. not really
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Pretty sure this thread jinxed everything Jays will lose 6 straight now, and The Yankees win 6 straight. How is it even possible for someone to be this negative I do not know - You must have had a really hard time as a kid.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Nothing in Baseball is guaranteed. I like our chances to win. But the Orioles can decide to put that spoiler hat on. Finishing ahead of the Royals is extremely important. Of course. Look at the Archer Price ace showdown on Sat. Who saw that coming? 10-8. Orioles can hit.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 How is it even possible for someone to be this negative I do not know - You must have had a really hard time as a kid. Yeah, even I'm done with the negativity for this season. This team we have is plain good as we saw last night.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 You caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan putindabooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard, yessssss!!! 2 run homer Eaton, 3-0 White Sox. Hawk Harrelson is good ---> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBwNiZmnSDM

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 How is it even possible for someone to be this negative I do not know - You must have had a really hard time as a kid. Its called sarcasm.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 So happy i'm not working tomorrow and only have class until 11:30 Good for you - I finish work at 3:00 so I have enough time to prepare my room for untold hours of baseball.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 We play better at Rogers Centre. I don't give a f*** what they did last year. I rather face the AL West winner, then take the chance of facing Tanaka twice in a 5 game series. Any day of the week.
baubau Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Not sure if this is pointed out, but its f***ing great that the game is delayed. This way tomorrow the Jays can for sure celebrate in front of O's faces vs winning the game, going into the locker room and watching the rest of the Yankees / Sox (chances are they would have found out just before tonight but meh). SUCK IT BALTIMORE YOU POS TOWN
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Royals just hit back to back homers. 3-2 Sox.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I would love that scenario actually. We would face him on extremely short rest twice which would be extremely ideal and potentially dangerous for Tanaka. Its not as short rest as you think, He will be on minimum 3 days, plus think again. Yankee stadium, how many ALDS series have Yankees lost in the last 20 years. Dont Expect Calls. Balls by the pinstripes will be strikes.
Billy Bats Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Jays seem like a team of destiny don't they? with tomorrow being an AL Easy clinching game and stroman pitching, you could make a strong case for this next game to be as much of a sure shot as ever.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Cubs are the team of destiny. Jays Cubs would be an awesome WS
candymartinez Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Few weeks ago I thought this division race would come down to the last series for sure. Just beautiful to see how they have just coasted to clinching it.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Wow that was a sick catch by Thompson in LF for the Sox. Flat out robbery.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Holy f*** what a catch by Thompson
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Cubs are the team of destiny. destined to lose.
