not ready to call Estrada over Burly..... if Burly is feeling good and has a solid start, he's the man

Imagine Burly vs the Rangers in Texas? yikes.

One of the best games I've ever been to. Flight deck was rockin!

Seriously amazing!! Place was rocking and 46 thousand people lost it when Martin hit his bomb

White Sox are so bad. Think they can avoid being swept by the Yanks?

Yankees couldn't sweep a floor. Sox are not Phillies, Braves type bad

So will the one-run game nerds finally realize that the best way to win close, one-run games is to score more runs late to put it out of reach? There's a reason the Jays have 87 wins with 10 games to play. So stop quoting this 13-26 record in one-run games as a knock against the team. It is hands down the most obnoxious stat mining this board does.

Mi hermano por siempre = Mi brother forever

There is a lot of passion, determination, support for one another, bonding/friendships and plain old good chemistry going on in that clubhouse at the moment. It is truly amazing to see this in a bunch of players. The old and the young working together towards a common goal with an intensity I haven't seen in the Jays clubhouse for a long time. It's captivating... It's intense... It's magical is so many different ways. Just loving it!

Hmmmmm, only 2,056 Yankees fans at the game? ;)

I would add TV viewership (hundred of thousands) also lost it with that shot. It was a crucial series locked at 1-all, the Jays were getting runners on with 2 outs often, the fans were tightly wound-up with hope (another 2 out scenario)... and anticipation (will it happen this time)... and then the loud crack was heard as the bat smashed the ball... breaths held for a couple of seconds as their eyes tracked the path of the balls which was then followed by an explosive roar of jubilation from the fans as the ball careened into the stands. That feeling of joy still lingers today - long, long after the moment has passed. It's like a nice blend of surreal madness.

Great Team Win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stroman was f***ing awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Osuna Matata!!!!!!!!!

Having Stroman in the rotation at this point of the season is a blessing especially with the way he has been pitching. The BP did their job so kudos to Cecil (3 up and 3 down) and Osuna (got the job done) as well. The defense was good also - amazing DP Smoak/Goins and Pillar's contribution in CF. The team was firing on all cylinders.

Chris Sale will own them.

I would like to see that as well but they will need to supplement that with scoring runs and having good defense at the same time. All it takes is 1 run to win (1 pitching error) and the Yankees have boot speed and good hitters in their lineup. The Yankees BP is good as well however they have been worked hard lately which hopefully can impact the end result.

Not sure if posted already, but not about to sift this thread to see. Soundcloud of martin's home run across different broadcasts.

Thanks for that link - you just made me relive that moment in many languages. :)

White Sox are currently small underdogs at +115. This is what happens when you have awful fielders and a terrible lineup.

Yanks can beat anyone including Archer the last couple starts. However their LHH lineup is in tough against that nasty brute Sale.

Yanks aren't gonna go away quietly. Gotta keep the foot on the gas pedal. Fully expect the Yanks to sweep the WhiteSox

The White Sox offense is pathetic. I mean, they have a Melky that was one of the worst hitters in baseball during the 1st half, a bunch of scrubs outside of Abreu, and are such a joke they have Klay Thompson's brother batting in important spots.

Don't sleep on their starters, though. They have real good lefty pitchers (Sale, Quintana, Rodon) and even a struggling Shark can pull one out every now and then. I mean, we did lose 3 of 4 in Chicago earlier this year.
