Must u bring that disaster back! LoL. Biggest collapse in my memory.

 

Also 1990... To a lesser extent of course. 1 1/2 up with a week left and they choked it away. Losing that final head to head series vs The Bosox in Fenway was the key difference, which is why I'm so glad that we were able to win this one vs Yankees.

Agree with you 100% dude.

 

I'm glad someone does. It's like, you're stat mining an 87-win team with 850 runs under its belt for not allowing themselves to play in games that can easily be blooped into losses.

The White Sox offense is pathetic. I mean, they have a Melky that was one of the worst hitters in baseball during the 1st half, a bunch of scrubs outside of Abreu, and are such a joke they have Klay Thompson's brother batting in important spots.

 

Don't sleep on their starters, though. They have real good lefty pitchers (Sale, Quintana, Rodon) and even a struggling Shark can pull one out every now and then. I mean, we did lose 3 of 4 in Chicago earlier this year.

 

Actually, Trayce Thompson is doing quite well, with a .314/.372/.593 line. And they haven't been horrible in the last 30, playing near .500. And with lefties going in 3 of the games, the Yanks could be in tough.. especially with no Teixiera around to balance out the heavy amount of LH in the lineup. White Sox have a decent shot to take this series.

Yanks aren't gonna go away quietly. Gotta keep the foot on the gas pedal. Fully expect the Yanks to sweep the WhiteSox
