I don't see Tulo being productive with his current injury in my opinion. I mean maybe if they get to the ALCS but at that point it'll be tough.

Exactly my thoughts. I actually DONT want Tulo back this year because I feel like he will be penciled into the lineup because of his name while providing negative value on both sides of the ball. I just can't see Tulo being able to play well enough with an injured shoulder.

How did you embed the tweet? I've been trying to figure it out. Twitter newbie.

you get the number from the "details" tab on the tweet.

Edit sorry it's already covered. Well done team!

little known fact about spanky is that he would've gone to the show (hockey version) if he hadn't punched out a ref in philly

The alleged facts that he was an excellent hockey player and also that he punched a ref do not surprise me at all.

Plus Spanky's probably had that injury himself

Never, lol. My sister's an RMT, not a doctor, when I asked her about 2 -3 weeks she laughed her ass off and said try 2/3 months. He gone. She did mention that he has the best doctors in NA though, so, it might be possible in 5 to 6 weeks.

I feel like AA know's Tulo won't be back, he's just scared to admit it to media.

Hence my post above.

Yeah. Its great to be optimistic, but we also have to be realistic. Nobody recovers from this injury in 2-3 weeks, let alone recovering enough to swing a f***ing baseball bat at an elite level.

TRAVIS SURGERY

Second baseman Devon Travis underwent exploratory surgery on his left shoulder on Wednesday that revealed no structural damage. The Blue Jays expect him to be back to full strength for spring training in February.

During the procedure, a cyst in the joint was drained
, but there appeared to be no other obvious reason for the discomfort that has kept the rookie sidelined since the end of July.
The shoulder was also cleaned up.

The injury had its genesis in a hard ground ball that struck Travis on the collarbone in May, causing a deep bone bruise. He missed more than a month at that time, then went back on the disabled list in July and never returned, though he spent a lot of time trying to rehab the injury.

He won't be healed... But it sounds like it's one of those injuries that's it's ok to play through if you can handle some pain. Cortisone shot and let's go!!!
