BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Can't wait to take my son to two playoff games. He's so excited. Ya. We made it. Jeez I hope we beat the Rays. Be more than happy with 2/3. How old is your boy?

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 What is the face value on 500 tickets for the first round? 60-90 bucks?
imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Prices have slowly gone down and less sold tickets today.

imsorry4beatinU Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 yeah I think I was a tad too late putting mine up might as well wait until Jays clinch playoff spot. I'm in the same boat as you and didn't lower my price enough to get a buyer.

Seats in my row sold for the price Im listing them at but Im not sure if its still realistic after the wave yesterday. Ill leave them at that price for a couple days after the division is clinched and dates/times are set before I lower them though
AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Tickets really aren't moving for game 2.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Tickets really aren't moving for game 2. I wonder why? Yeah game 1 is prime since it's the first in 22 years and all, but game 2 is guaranteed and on Friday night...
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Wish I was downtown tonight going to the game. Some great deals on Stubhub right now if anyone is close to downtown and thinking of getting last minute tickets on Stubhub - $40 USD each for Sec 128, row 19. Premium Dugout 117, row 20 - $60 USD. And today around 3 PM, the cheapest seat to get in the building was $45 and that was a 500 level nosebleed seat.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I wonder why? Because there are so many tickets being made available with all similar high prices.

Yeah game 1 is prime since it's the first in 22 years and all, but game 2 is guaranteed and on Friday night... It will start to sell. Once they clinch and people can make plans it will start to sell quickly. Not saying prices are sure to stay elevated, but tickets are going to be in high demand.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 I got a pair of tickets for Game 2! Can't wait!
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 IMO the prices will stay steady until they clinch and the date and time of the games will be 100% confirmed. When that will happen, prices will go up for sure. PS: StubHub has some pretty expensive fees.

I think prices will go way down when the announce the time of the games are going to be at 4pm in the afternoon. Everyone now thinks it will be a night game but unless they play the Yankees in the ALDS the Blue jays will be playing the afternoon games.

Hopefully they won't come down, or I'll be pissed haha

They would have the Jays play at 4pm on weekdays in Toronto? I don't see how that makes sense for anybody.

I don't see how that makes sense for anybody. The TV networks decide it, not the Blue Jays. Obviously the Jays org. wouldn't want it in the afternoon.
