I've never sat that close to CF before. Good point

I had row 6 seats to the right of the batters eye and its a realllly good vantage point. You actually feel really close to the center fielder and you can also see the break on pitches.

I've been trying to get 100 level outfields...

1st time I got through it was 139L row 7 seats 105,106

2nd time it was 140R row 3 seats 5,6

3rd time it was 141R row 6 seats 5,6

Just purchased the 3rd one because I was sick of getting kicked out.

Im in the same boat as you, I ended up with 104L Row 6. I got mine right before you at about 11:05. I thought I was going to get better seats, but as you probably saw these were the best deal available with what our options were. Much better than paying an extra $1000/seat for 212 or 113D, and the closest row in the 500 level was 17 when I looked. Once I pulled the trigger on these bad boys I was just thrilled to get some decent seats. Id be pumped too if I were you

I'm interested in buying a pair of tix for the ALDS game 1 or 2. Any sellers?

I will definitely be selling tickets to one of those games.

Cool! What are the dates? Anyone know? I guess they could change depending on if we have home field advantage or not?

Hey I'm looking for tickets to the ALDS too, game 1 and possibly game 2 as well. Probably can only afford tickets in the 500 section but if I will definitely be willing to take other seats that are offered!

It's also $200 cheaper for me to fly to Houston so if we play them, we may represent down there.

Put me down as interested in any tickets that you put up for sale.

I'd be in for buying single game tickets up to 20% above face value assuming I can't get any myself. If you're looking for top dollar don't bother messaging me though.

No offense, but if you are willing to pay "up to 20% above face" you'd better have some pretty good friends with tickets. I'd be an idiot to sell to a stranger for 20% or less mark up. They are going to be at least triple value on stubhub. I'm planning on selling a couple of my pairs to close friends for face value, the rest I'm going to sell for fair market value on stubhub.

Yes, I am Scott Boras. I want fair market value for my tickets

Right now Jays tickets for regular season games the rest of the way are consistently selling for more than double face value on stubhub. I just paid 2.5 times face value on stubhub for outfield tickets to Saturday's game and those were some of the cheapest available. Thats the way it is now. The new reality.

Those without their own tickets already will either need generous friends or a lot of money to watch a game live.

Single game playoff tickets are being withheld for the Sept 24th sale to the general public. The team has the right to "dynamically price" single game playoff tickets, but who knows what they will actually list for. They've already set a benchmark by displaying single game ticket prices at the same level as the strips cost per game.

lol you do remember Beeston is still here right? I don't think he knows what Dynamic Price is. Jays could of probably made 10 million more on their tickets if they didn't use a dinosaur system. But as a person who sees a lot of games each year I'm not complaining :)

As I said if you're getting them as an investment don't bother messaging me. I've also created a few trustworthy online friends here so I'm not referring to you.

Well I hope that works out for you. There are some really nice people on this message board but I'm not close friends with anyone on here so I wouldn't expect anyone to give me a sweetheart deal.

Regardless, I didn't buy mine as an investment. There was no choice but to buy the entire strip. My work schedule means I will be able to attend approximately 50% of the games. I plan to sell the other 50% and hopefully break even on the deal. My wife isn't cool with me spending $3800 on Jays tickets, I can assure you that!

Quite honestly I don't care if it works out for me or not, the odds of me getting tickets would be hard enough and I'm not dropping $1000 on a game. My 114" Theater Room works pretty sweet as an alternative.

They are marked up way too high on StubHub. There are so many available. Those prices will come down a lot closer to gameday as they do with every other sporting event. There is no way I could see someone spending $200-$300 USD per seat to sit in the lower bowl for a regular season game in September lol.

I'm really interested to see what the Stubhub market will be for playoff tickets. I'm hoping to sell one game per series and basically watch the rest of the playoffs for free.

I'd be willing to trade some pairs of my Raptors season tickets (premium games against Cleveland, Miami, San Antonio, Golden State, etc.) in exchange for a postseason game; even if I need to make up for the difference in cost.

You can probably get good markup on 500 level seats or outfield seats. Lower levels around the infield and dugout likely will be tough to markup since they are quite expensive face value to begin with.

I just sold 4 tickets in section 129 for triple their face value for Sept 20 vs Boston. The profit I made on those 4 tickets is going to pay for my Saturday 100 level seats, plus my hotel, plus the day tomorrow at African Lion Safari for my entire family.

And if you look at whats already been sold for game 1 of the ALDS, the cheapest tickets sold on Stubhub were for $160 each USD and they were 500 level. That is more than $210 CDN a ticket, and the face value on the ticket is only $50. Remember I'm talking about tickets that have already been sold, and that was the cheapest pair sold on stubhub so far for that game. The better seats have sold for far more than that.

People are willing to pay $500 for platinum tickets to watch the s***** last place Leafs in this town. They'll spend that much to be part of a Jays playoff run. I'm figuring I can get double the value for my tickets, if not triple.

Ultimately its going to be pricey for those not able to buy them direct. The Governator is right - sitting at home is a good option too. If I wasn't fortunate to be able to get 2 tickets due to having a voucher pack, I'd probably be watching from home come October too.

see my previous post. You can see what they are selling for right now. Not the ones listed, but the ones that have actually sold. You should be able to make triple, maybe even quadruple.

I might be willing to do that with you. Where are your raptors seats?

This is probably taboo to talk about, but I always loved watching the WC games so I bought 2 tickets to the hypothetical WC game at home... I prob got ripped off but I just went and got 2 tickets off Stub Hub for $200 (500 lvl, row 3)... anyone else planning to buy tickets for the WC (just in case)? What did you or would you pay?

I don't know rules or reasoning behind it, but Rogers could have easily doubled their prices for WC and ALDS and sold out like nothing. I don't see anything wrong with paying $200.

They did do this though: 500 level seats are $50 for WC which is about triple regular season cost.
