TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Nice depth move. FG: http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=3978&position=OF
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Wow, he just broke my no-hitter in MLB The Show in the 8th inning. What a coincidence!
nextyear Verified Member Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 This is good. It will allow the Blue Jays to rest Bautista (as DH) and also Pillar (days off). However, he is being assigned to Buffalo so in the end it is possible that Pompey could be called up instead. In any case, it gives the Blue Jays more options for a real 4th outfielder other than Goins and Pennington.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 He will probably never play a game for the Jays.
jayswin11 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I like the move and saw it coming the moment he was released

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 Just heard on the pregame Drew Stubbs was DFA'd. He's still owed a little over 1 million but would be a really nice bench piece.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Beat me to it. Always loved Stubbs. I'd take him over Heisey We've got a handful of 40 man spots open, so we don't have to take one over the other, and September is close...
