I have no idea why they didn't go with Hawkins instead of Lowe. Personally if I was Gibbons, I would've understood that Lowe was tired and weary from traveling the day before. Like really, he got into the RC last night 3/4 of the way through the game. Likely didn't get much sleep in a new city, new bed etc, and you throw him out there in a 1 run game?

 

No wonder this team has a s***** record in those 1 run games with an idiot savant for a manager. Tulowitzki sitting and not DHing? Smoak playing at 1B instead of Edwin? What is this guy on?

Yup. Mark Lowe has been very good. Just couldn't get it done today. Pen has been used alot the last couple games, we didn't have the luxury of pulling Lowe early

Lowe got a bit too much rope, should have been pulled for a lefty against Hosmer or Morales. Other than that though I was fine with the decision making. A lot of s*** went KC's way and that's just how it is sometimes

There was no problem with bringing in Lowe to start the inning. Don't you think he may have been left in a little longer than he should have been? We have an 8 man pen right now. How come Cecil or Loup weren't ready to face Hosmer and Morales?
