bendera3 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Sars was crazy. Despite being an hour outside of Toronto our school board sent us home for nearly a week. I remember the announcement in the middle of the day. Everyone thought everyone in Toronto was going to die. That's kinda what happened 9/11 for me. I was in school and all of the sudden we were all told to go home. They thought a war was starting.

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I wonder how much hatred of the Jays comes from them being a Canadian-based team? I'm thinking quite a bit. Just eats away at them. USA USA USA
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 How do you make one terrible point and immediately follow it up with a great one
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 How do you make one terrible point and immediately follow it up with a great one Look around this board, happens all the time
bendera3 Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 How do you make one terrible point and immediately follow it up with a great one You don't understand anything?
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I've never seen someone else's success bother people so much in my life. I don't care what anyone says, if it wasn't a team from Canada it wouldn't bother them nearly as much. Anything Canadian belongs in the gutter, and they can't stand for it to be any other way.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 You don't understand anything? Its more like he went fishing for stats to support his claims that the offense is unsustainable but stumbled onto the pitching stats that show its unsustainable

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Machado scares me. Donaldson scares everyone else.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Trouba95 being that one guy everyone stares at in the mall but no one talks to
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Donaldson scares everyone else. He doesn't scare some of the Yankee fans. He, along with the rest of the team, are a bunch of little leaguers. Lolol
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Trouba95 being that one guy everyone stares at in the mall but no one talks to The mall is probably too scary so he likely avoids it.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Guys, cut them some slack, they're from Baltimore. That city is a s*** stain.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Yeah this is my feeling as well. This situation reminds me of the NFL. I can not stand the Steelers and never want to root for them. However the last few years they would play the Patriots and I would find myself rooting for the Steelers. I feel like the Jays go as far possible to break the rules or atleast stretch them as much as they can. The Patriots with their tatics and the Jays with there stealing signs or whatever they do to be so much better at home. Even after this sweep the jays didn't score a ton of runs like they have at home. lol so now it's "or whatever they do to be so much better at home" because it's abnormal for teams to play better at home.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 While your at it, get a real f***ing stadium not some piece of s*** dome, that place should be burned to the ground. Can we fill it full of O's fans first?

They claim it's not the success, it's cause our players are douche bags. I can see why they would say that Bautista is a douche bag cause he owns the big time, but everyone else? Give me a break.

They have Manny motherf***ing Machado on their team, they have lost the right to complain about the conduct of any other player in baseball.

Deadpool is right. In addition to that, there's definitely the Canadian team factor in there. They might not say it, but it's always lurking in the depths.
flafson Verified Member Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 O's fans think that at current rate they are going to eventually bypass the Yankees. I guess they believe we are going to play them every week.

The hilarious part is that they think that DONALDSON is the one that's hated league wide.
