KC is really pushing for it, damn. Get er done in the offseason AA to get ZoZo for LF and Infield backup!

 

I'd target a guy like Seth Smith to platoon in LF with someone. The Jays need some left handed bats to balance the lineup.

So the Royals grab Cueto and have him in line to make his first Royals start against the Jays in their upcoming 4-game series. The Jays then pull in Tulowitzki, and the Royals immediately counter with Zobrist. Both of those guys should also be ready to play in that series. Jays vs Royals shaping up to be a trade deadline showcase.

In order to get Price/Cespedes we'll have to give Pompey.

 

Although I'm unsure of what we would have to give up for just Cespedes.

Trade is for Brooks and Manaea.

 

 

Manaea? Wow that is pretty solid for a UFA/rental. I would have thought it was Starling.

Royals are sure trading away their prospects for a couple rentals.

 

Zorilla will sign there, this was known when he was in Tampa.

What's the projected win total for the 2nd WC? Just trying to figure what we'll need to go. How about 86-87? If so, we need to go 37-25.

Giolito, Hoffman, Manaea -- all guys that dropped considerably in the draft because of "injury concerns". One is now the #1 prospect in baseball, the other two have just brought back Ben Zobrist and Troy Tulowitzki.

They are and they do, at a very steep cost. For a team with payroll restrictions who has to rely on their farm system, I'm surprised.
