Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Offense needs to grow the f*** up and hit the damn ball! Great play by Colabello
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Gonna just post in here since I no one will want to read what I say
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Donaldson!!!!!!!!! At least 1 hitter showed up
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 f*** Gibby, stupid manager that has to be fired!!!!!! Wierd, I didn't know Gibby was playing right field, and second, AND catching. Huh.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Worst defense in history of playoffs...use your damn head
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Wierd, I didn't know Gibby was playing right field, and second, AND catching. Huh. Still responsible for 11 days rest for Price and 9 for Stroman
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Still responsible for 11 days rest for Price and 9 for Stroman Oh f*** off, stop blaming the manager for everything.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Sadly, just making the playoffs was enough to keep this idiot employed. Gibbons will continue to waste this stacked roster until it eventually declines and we go back to sucking.
ProfessionalAtBat Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Gibbons is an idiot. He is not a proactive manager. It was obvious Colabello should have played in the 6th inning last game. Cola is a gamer and I knew he would elevate his game comes playoff time. I called it. Gibbons knows jack s*** about sports psychology. f*** him
youngtea Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't like Gibbons, but the reason we lost yesterday was not cause of him. Price screwed up and the loss should be blamed on him. Everything today has been going to plan.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Gibbons isn't http://www.acnetreatment.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Proactiv-Acne-Products.jpg guys.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Finally that annoying f*** gets banned.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Putting Colabello in was a golden move by Gibby.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yesterday's game is on Price Today's in on the offense. So many scoreless innings when 1 run wins. FFS
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't think anything Gibbons did affected the outcome much
labadee Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yesterday's game is on Price Today's in on the offense. So many scoreless innings when 1 run wins. FFS how about that top of the first though
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 how about that top of the first though Yeah defense has been spotty at times
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't think anything Gibbons did affected the outcome much I tend to agree. I know Hawkins gave up the winning run and all of that. But to me the key was capitalizing on mistakes. Cecil threw a hanger and Napoli did something with it. We had meatballs we either popped them up or fouled them. There was the one Eddy sent to center that just died - I am trying to blot that out of my memory right now... Yesterday was definitely on Price, especially on his inability to give us a shutdown inning. But then Gallardo center cut some balls too in the first couple of innings and we didn't do anything with it...
BlueJays Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 In his defense, he didn't a sh*t but I still don't like how they stopped playing after clinching the division.
Treeplant Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 In his defense, he didn't a sh*t but I still don't like how they stopped playing after clinching the division. I've never had an issue with Gibbons personally. This, however, I really didn't like. Jays go cruising into the postseason with their foot off the gas against a Rangers team jacked up coming off their WC win. I didn't expect the Jays to win the first game and today's game was one of those toss ups. I think we look good for Game 3 in terms of match ups and energy levels and I have way more confidence in Price in Game 5 than I did with him in Game 1 so Game 4 is the game I'm worried about right now. I really wish Gibbons had have gone for the AL title and fielded more competitive teams at the end.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 In his defense, he didn't a sh*t but I still don't like how they stopped playing after clinching the division. This is going to be talked about for years... Like the collapse of 85 and 87.
highhard2 Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I don't think anything Gibbons did affected the outcome much He's won one game since clinching the division. I didn't think he would get exposed till the World Series when he had to play without a DH,and actually manage the pen. Wishful thinking I guess.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 This is going to be talked about for years... Like the collapse of 85 and 87. He basically let them get hammered after winning the division, and then gave away the last game of the season to let a starter pitch on one day's rest to get an arbitrary personal goal. There is not giving a s***, and then there's what Gibby did after winning the division, including giving his best starter 11 days of rest in between starts when he was perfectly healthy. It should be talked about. I didn't have an issue with resting the players in Baltimore, but he clearly did not care if they won or lost over the last five games of the reg season.
