I'll say this, FYSMC...thanks for paying attention.

But seriously, it certainly wouldn't surprise me if AA is being goaded to fire Gibbons. If true, then kudos to AA for resisting. In fact, let's all join the resistance!

How are people like Marty York actually employed in baseball in any capacity?

You don't know Marty York? Actually?

He is indeed a f***bag, he's some CFL hack who has this stupid gimmick he does with his pointing finger.

I honestly didn't.

A quick minute scroll of his twitter feed...I wish I still didn't.

Well, technically he's not I don't think. Pretty sure Marty is freelance these days.

I fed him a line years ago that the 'Riders were close to signing Jeff Garcia as QB and he posted it on an official sports site like it was news. Golden, Jerry, golden!

Yeah part of the reason I defend him so much is that he seems like a really good dude. If he was bad at his job, that's one thing but he's done nothing to deserve the vitriol he gets from s***** Toronto fans.

He does always seem like a good guy. I doubt its true.

Actually, if Gibbons had even half a clue the score would have ended up 7-0 and Bautista would have been on the bench for his last AB. There's no reason not to get Bautista off the field as much as possible until he's 100 % healthy.

Sadly this isn't the first opportunity he's passed up to rest Bautista and probably wont be the last.

lmfao

I'm sure the biggest EGO in the clubhouse is going to appreciate missing out on an plate appearance

Was listening to bluejays talk (don't judge me guys, shut up!) and Wilner says that the rumor about Gibby is false.

So perhaps another night Gibby HATERZ!

Little things that good managers think of and bad ones couldn't care less about.

Yup. He benches Bautista (given the extreme shittiness of the pen and the fact that the Nats have a good offense) and the Nats make a comeback, you start screaming about how Gibbons is an idiot for benching Bautista because he should have known no lead is safe with our BP.

See how this works?

Wow...this explains a lot.

As for this thread...lulz 10 WAR managers exist?

Marty York is the absolute bottom of the barrel, he makes Wilner look like Rosenthal. He's not even a troll, he's just a f***ing retard that makes abrasive tweets to try and get noticed. He's the type of guy that would suck a dick to get 100 extra followers or be on TV for 5 seconds.

This might be the stupidest thing that's ever been said on the internet, and well, that's saying all the things.

Also, I thought Marty York would have realized that literally all of his sources are trolling the f*** outta him, or maybe he has and he's just become sort of a meta troll, either way, f*** the f***ing f*** off, Marty York.

Please...........You wouldn't know stupid if Boxcar punched you in the side of the head with it.

What's really f***ing stupid is some dipshit having a topless picture of himself playing air guitar...........on a baseball forum!! LOL

Please explain why it would be stupid to use Bautista as sparingly as possible until he's back to full health?

My f***ing god, you just pick on every little stupid thing and even when you can't do that you invent a reason to be pissed off.

Even stupider then.

Well, if there's one thing you've shown to be your area of expertise, it's "stupider".

I pick on the collective stupidity of Gibbons. The goof literally does NONE of the little things that separate good managers from s***** ones.

He bunts far less often than the average manager.

He, for the most part, utilizes platoons properly

Posted
Those are not little thing. Those are things all managers do and he isn't particularly good at choosing when to do either.

I was planning on using the Picard one, but I'll take Sisko...

Jesus Christ. I really don't like using this phrase since maybe, somehow, outside of baseball you are a smart guy.

You are stupid as f***.

Gibbons is a s***** manager and should be fired. Should never have been hired. Should never be employed as a manager in MLB again.

The End.
