Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Is that not some kind of obstruction? It should be at every base now that they have it at home plate. But.....perfectly legal.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Screw this. I'd rather watch Wimbledon over watching Dickey pitch. Please let me know when the Jays are batting again Give me your number?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 That's why sliding back feet first is better overall. Aviles would have ate some steel cleets right there.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Yanks gonna be up 3 at the end of the day. Slowly slowly slipping.

IBTrini Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Hamels + Cueto and MAYBE they have a shot. It doesn't make sense unless he gets 2 stud pitchers, because otherwise wait until the offseason and sign some of them, 100% agree with you. Just curious as to what you think they will realistically ask for Hamels and Cueto. I am not asking what you will want them to take which is a big difference. I am fairly certain the fans will go batshit crazy giving up so much talent.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Time for the bats to get it going here.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 At least it's still reachable. After all, the Tigers bullpen is a serious Achilles heel..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Nice piece of hitting by Bautista!
baubau Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Donaldson is in a big time funk Both he and Hutch have been taking some RoadSuckage pills. If only they could continue to take their HomeDominance pills with them on the road but nope.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 Damn that was hit hard. Yeah it was, but it's sort of sad that EE wasn't even thinking about hitting the ball the other way in that situation. Fundamentally inept.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Runs allowed last 10 games: 06/24 vs Rays: 0 (won 1-0). 06/26 vs Rangers: 2 (won 12-2). 06/27 vs Rangers: 4 (lost 0-4). 06/28 vs Rangers: 2 (won 3-2). 06/29 vs Red Sox: 3 (lost 1-3). 06/30 vs Red Sox: 4 (lost 3-4). 07/01 vs Red Sox: 2 (won 11-2). 07/02 vs Red Sox: 12 (lost 6-12). 07/03 vs Tigers: 8 (lost 6-8). Today vs Tigers: 5 so far.

Fundamentally inept. have you seen Edwin play, he's a pull hitter thats what he does. Don't be mad when he does in that situation because you will be happy when it works out
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Why do you think Anthopoulos is not doing anything? I am also frustrated with the pitching staff but I also know other GMs are not going to be gifting good pitching to the Jays. Jays is not the only team looking to fix their pitching woes so the higher the demand the higher the cost. The fan base will lose their minds if he were to empty the farm for good pitching so I guess this type of unreasonable fault finding will never end. No matter what he does it will never satisfy everyone. Because all teams think they are still in playoff race Phillies asking way too much.

He can still hit the ball hard the other way, if not it at least advances the runner to third with one out. Give me a break.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Leave it to Tabby to spin 14 baserunners in 5 innings into a positive lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 Finally, the lead off hitter is retired.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Because all teams think they are still in playoff race Phillies asking way too much. Especially in the AL.. it is very tight in the race. Even teams like the Red Sox aren't out of it.
IBTrini Verified Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Just money, no miricales needed. DFA OMG please! There is no money available for Jays spending ... so it's back to asking for a miracle.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Author Posted July 4, 2015 so when he's a bad hitter now? I didn't say he's a bad hitter, although his power numbers are still there, he's dropped of in getting on. It's not that often that a runner on second with no out presents itself, so attempting to go the other way won't interfere with the overall approach. Baseball is a game of adjustments, not blind robotic actions.
