L54 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 When will the gifting of playing time to Colabello stop?

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 When will the gifting of playing time to Colabello stop? Not soon, and understandably so.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Not soon, and understandably so. Understandably so what? Giving extended playing time to another replacement level hitter? The Jays need to do less of that, not more.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 This Winning teams are built pitching first The crazy thing is people like you will get their wish. Cito and the Beest are allready blaming the season on the high on base percentage and the base-cloggers... Next Jays great pitching team will have a .288 on base percentage and 125-56 stolen base to caught stealing, and probably 100 sacrafices. But win loss will be the ussual 75 win team 75 wins forvever 2019 Jays - 75-85, 1st in era, .288 on base percentage... this goes on forever no way to stop it with your kind of thinking.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 This Winning teams are built pitching first You are so simple.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Since joining this board the jays are 0/2. Time to unjoin the board.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 You are so simple. That's what's called a basic bitch.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Don't be so harsh. I am a legendary blue jays fan and of Royal decent, and I can offer a great deal of meaningful insight to the board I'm just joking. Welcome!
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Thank you, my Royal Hertigage alone should bring a certain degree of class and sophistication, as I offer insight that the common man may not be able to uncover given my Royal pedigree. Please teach me old wise one.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Since joining this board the jays are 0/2. Dickey's performance has been exactly as previous. Dickey needs to be outright released Phil Neikro style. Dickey inspires no confidence and I want Hendricks to pitch instead of him. If they keep throwing a 3-9 pitcher with a 5 plus era, AA is dumb. Any other pitcher with these stats would be released by now. In innings the Jays have scored, Dickey has given up run in 76 percent of the next inning, and either a hit or a walk in 92 percent of following innings. That is not a hallmark of a good player. It is time for sweeping changes, but they will wait too long and given what is going on we will be out of the race within 2 weeks and Carerra, Dickey, Collabello, Reyes and Cecil will be the reasons why. Hutch at least wins games. Only two of those are true (Carrera, Dickey). At lest Collabello, Reyes and Cecil produce..

I am a legendary blue jays fan and of Royal decent, and I can offer a great deal of meaningful insight to the board Can you get Paul Beeston fired and make sure his replacement is the compete opposite?? Perhaps hold a meeting with Rogers share holders and make it clear to them that because of your Royal Descent you will have veto power over their next choice for president... If you can do that you will be useful...

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 3 games back from division. Really pooping this away. Gonna be worse than the white sox come the Allstar break
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 On the bright side, Osuna has only been used once since Sunday, and that was only because Boyd couldn't record an out so the pen had to finish 9 innings.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) Gonna be worse than the white sox come the Allstar break White Sox are 35-42, plus we play the White Sox next, and they aren't a good team, with little offense outisde of Jose Abreu. And outside of Sale, what are they going to get out of everyone else? And their bullpen sucks, just like Detroit.. without the benefit of a decent offense or strong starting pitching 1-3 or 1-4. While I understand the Jays are struggling, this negativity is getting out of hand. Chicago can't hit.. and as much as KC is a top team, they have a losing record against AL East teams, plus their offense is below average. I mean, that Royals team gives starts to Guthrie, Blanton and Chris Young.. they can't expect their bullpen to keep bailing them out. (FYI, Duffy, Volquez and Young are starting the Jays series tentatively.) Luckily for the Royals, they have a cakewalk of a series coming up with the offensively challenged Rays.. Rays could be below the Jays by the All-Star Break (heck, possibly behind Boston too.) Look, your criticism of the Jays is fair, and I agree we have pitching issues and need a natural LF, and really need to add a starter.. but we've hit a lot of top starters and a hot Red Sox team (who won again today, BTW.) Sooner or later we'll get a break.. Edited July 4, 2015 by jaysfan2014
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Don't know about that.. we play the White Sox next, and they aren't a good team, with little offense outisde of Jose Abreu. And outside of Sale, what are they going to get out of everyone else? And their bullpen sucks, just like Detroit.. without the benefit of a decent offense or strong starting pitching 1-3 or 1-4. Won 4 in a row against the Cardinals and Os.....should be 5 in a row once we play them
