Show was great until Andy Whittfield (Spartacus) died of cancer, after that it was meh. Although the prequel series that aired while he was sick was pretty good.

With all the argument with Smoak (Team SMOAK!!) vs Bello it is pretty funny how often Smoak and Bello go back to back HRs on the days they shift. HR by Smoak in Boston 1st game, nothing in 2nd, then Bello HR in 3rd game. Now Smoak HR in NY game. This has happened a few times through the season. I know we argue who should be playing where but the mix of Bello/Smoak at 1B has provided great offense. Totaling 29 HR & 98 RBI. They are like the 4th head of the Donaldson/Bautista/Eddy 30+ HR, 100+ RBI power.

Blue Jays have three guys in the top five in no doubt home runs (unsurprisingly Donaldson, Joey Bats and EE) and I'm guessing both Donaldson and EE added to their totals tonight. No other team has more than two in the top twenty.

It seems like the new Yankees Stadium was built with a very good drainage system. I was reading about Votto's suspension, and thinking maybe the Reds might be interested in parting with him. He's expensive, controversial, and the Reds manage their roster like a small market team and may think it's time to get rid of him. Wouldn't he be sweet in a Jays uni?

It looks good for the first game, but it could take hours to wait out rain delays in the second. Hopefully the doubleheader will go tomorrow if not today.

Are they really doing the double header 30 minutes after the first game? With minimal rest in between that's basically an 18 inning game. That off day Monday will be very helpful. A day/nighter would have been better, I think, but the weather might play into that.
