vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Thank you. Is this for a charity? I think it's just the veterans having some fun with the younger guys.
nextyear Verified Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Good quote. Better than him saying that they don't care (or something similar to this).
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hey...anybody know what the tiebreaker rule is? Is it head-tohead record? I've forgotten.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Good quote. Better than him saying that they don't care (or something similar to this). No real surprise coming from him; he's always had good things to say about the Jays over the years.
labadee Verified Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Stroman and Sanchez have done such a great job representing TO. Always see them in Toronto gear, even if it's not the blue jays
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Good quote. Better than him saying that they don't care (or something similar to this). He doesn't need to be concerned--Yanks are almost destined for the wild card game, likely to be at Yankee Stadium(Yanks have a 5 game lead over Texas for the 1st wild card.)

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 What's the tiebreaker rule? If it's tied, tiebreaker game for the division. (either NY or Toronto, depending how it ends) And as it stands right now, winner goes to the ALDS, the other plays the wild card game against Texas, LA or Minnesota. Here's the official jargon by MLB: "If one game is needed to break a tie for a playoff berth between two teams, it will be played on the Monday after the scheduled end to the regular season, hosted by the team that won the season series against the other. That applies to determining a division championship whether or not the losing team would still qualify as a Wild Card." Basically, tiebreak's at the Rogers Centre as it stands, as the Jays have an 8-4 advantage in the tiebreak.
Trekkie Verified Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Pompey and Revere are both > Pillar at base running. Pillar currently leads the AL in BsR. Are you sure?

Damnit. Shd be no tiebreaker game but rather just the season series.
Yorkshire Blue Jay Verified Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Pillar currently leads the AL in BsR. Are you sure? Pillar's main issue on the basepaths is IMO he's never too far from a brain fart causing running errors like at the Mets and Mariners. He needs to learn to run with his head up.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Looks like a LaLa Loopsy doll. My younger daugther had one. Makes sense that LaTroy would be involved with that doll.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Unless he's hinting they know the Jays will eventually collapse.
