lets be honest about Tulo. Even with his multi hit games on the road trip, he's been very lucky. I haven't seen a whole lot of line drives from him. He's a different hitter because of his timing or maybe he's just regressing.

Makes sense with the off day Thursday to have Price stay on 5 days rest and give Buehrle an extra 2 days off.

That sucks. I've been hoping all year that he doesn't retire, and this probably doesn't make him want to stick around.

 

Shouldnt he be on the velocity program that Delabar and others have used? I mean I know he never needed it, but when you reach a certian age you need to be proactive.

They would have to go 26 wins - 6 losses in the remaining 32 games so it is remotely possible, however, I think if the Blue Jays were to play that well then they will have clinched the AL East with several games to play and would rest some of their regulars in the final week.

 

I hope the blue Jays will continue to roll so that they can rest their regulars in the final week and give some playing time to players called up from the minors.

That's pretty special. He got fooled on a change yesterday and still got enough of it to get it out.

 

I started a thread a couple months ago asking if the best was yet to come for Edwin in 2015 and there was lots of spec he was regressing permanently then too.

 

Tulo is not making contact on more swings than I thought he would....but I expect him to get hot. Its not permanent regression imo.

Could care less about 100 wins. Just want enough to win the division. Would consider it icing if we could get enough better to get a little rest for our regulars.

 

Lots of ball left against teams we need to beat to get the Div.

We literally only have to go 16-16 .500 ball to get 90 wins, don't see us going under .500 really and could really see 92-95 as very possible
