Whenever there is a ground ball to a shortstop's right side, if the 3b can get to it, it should always be his ball going towards first with the momentum. I'm surprised Reyes even wants a ball hit to him to be honest.

If we split up our power bats would we gain by a more balanced attack? Which puts more pressure on a starting pitcher?

Donaldson

Reyes/Pillar

Pillar/ Reyes

Bautista

Martin/navarro

Smoak

EE

Travis/Pompey

Pompey/Travis

Power & Speed, Shock 'N' Awe!

I think that the 8 and 9 hitters (recently Pillar and Travis) have done a good job of getting on base for the top of the lineup. It doesn't seem like a bad idea to keep things the way that they are.

You want to give Pillar more at-bats than Bautista, Edwin, and Martin?

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

...f***, its the real life. Dammit Gibbs!

I think I want anyone and everyone batting ahead of Carrera.

Reyes opens up on Donaldson

As the Blue Jays’ everyday shortstop, Reyes spends a lot of time operating in Donaldson’s orbit, which has been a bit of a feeling-out process as two of the most competitive players on the team vie with each other for every ball hit to the left side. “There’s been a couple times when we’ve argued about whose ball it was—we both want to make the play,” Reyes says. “I think people see it and think we don’t get along. We get each other. We’re just so competitive.”

Can you give a link of the article

He already has more official at bats then them! Plus he has more hits too! Plus Reyes and him have the most stolen bases on the team! Setting the table for joey to drive even more runs in, yup that's a bad thing!

EE is struggling and Martin is not batting that low !

Put Smoak in front of Edwin for the fact he is a LH bat

And Pompey needs to bat somewhere!

In fact Martin is batting higher this way then in today's lineup!

Yanks or Twins guys? I've guven up on the division and think we should aim for a WC spot. Tied 1-1

The junior Canadian Champ I played with used to hook us up with free rounds At Scarboro GCC he was freaking awesome, too bad he lost his path as a youngin, but he does well now living in the Florida Peninsula, lol. He was something to watch, play with. Great golfer, had he stuck with it than, he'd be on the tour. He shot a 10 under 60 with us at Maples of Ballantrae, unbelievable.

Jesse Collinson by the way. (I think that's how you spell his last name)

Sounds like a great guy. I played with the Morlands when in North Bay for 16 years. Very well known canadian golf family.... several golf pros. David Morland IV was on PGA tour for a couple years. Bill Morland in Cdn golf hall of fame.

Going down to the wire... looks like 3 man playoff to me, Hearn, Bubba, Jason Day

I fell asleep after the 2nd hole and Hearn had a 3 shot lead...Dammit, lol

ok, I have a question for the guys who are good at finding obscure stats, what has lost the team more games, Reyes' errors or Loup's HRs? Loup has given up some Long balls for losses but Reyes has been an error machine. I'm going to guess it's Reyes

The following info was stolen from another forum, but here's the Jays record after 100 games since 2007:

2013 45-55

2012 51-49

2011 50-50

2010 51-49

2009 49-51

2008 49-51

Pretty consistent. The 2007, 2008 and 2010 teams had strong 2nd halves.. but not enough. What the Jays need is a hot 2nd half.. which might be enough this time, as the Twins are basically a bubble team that is unlikely to hold up down the stretch, due to a lackluster pitching staff and many of their players playing well above their head (they've been awful outside of that 20-7 May)

So we have no chance at reaching the playoffs, great.

Have you checked what the Blue Jays have done apart from that winning streak?

That's what I sort of thought, but to see it in real numbers is a little shocking. The Jays are really never bad or good, but consistently define middling. No matter who's in charge. Depressing.
