2 more days until baseball. Wonder what AA is up to. Hope he isn't getting in a position to do something colossally stupid.

Yeah that sucks haha, I prefer to train it in but wife seems to thinkbwr need to drive. I'm certain she'll win. She always wins.

good luck, hope it's a good trip for the whole family. My daughters still remember going to games when they were little kids. Great experience.

Go check the length of Downsview - Wilson. not six minutes, lol

Well it's like a 30 second drive and Wilson is actually closer to the 401, lol. And it definitely is like a five minute trip once the train gets moving. The subways take like ten minutes to go South after stopping at Downsview though.

The time you save driving to downsview instead of Wilson is worth it, it takes about 4-5 minutes in between stations.

I come from 3 hours west of Toronto and we took the kids to a game last month on Stroman bobblehead day. We parked at Wilson, which is only a few minutes from Yorkdale, and it was free parking and not busy there despite the large crowds at the game that day. Kids loved the subway ride since we are from small town Ontario. I'd strongly recommend it!

Yeah I'm familiar with the subway routes, I always found it easiest to just drive in though, I know a couple good parking lots close by. I was mostly concerned about traffic and parking with Pan Am happening on a Saturday.

That's a good call. I've never taken the Go Train there but it's now running on Saturdays and looks like it departs 9:48 and arrives at Union 11:18. Sounds like a good option but expensive.

It's an excellent alternative, it's about the same value in gas and parking, minus the headache of sitting in a ton of traffic.

Edit: I see you've received a ton of advice, lol. Well at least you have 3 passengers or more, you get to use the HOV lanes, that's a perk in itself. You should be fine.

Has there been any word on the rotation order after the break? I'm guessing Buehrle, Estrada, Hutchison, Dickey, and Doubront.

Hutchison, Dickey, Estrada, Beurhle, Doubront.

What a terrible rotation :(

The fact that it's debatable which starter is worse, Dickey or Doubront, makes it even sadder.

And Dickey's not even getting any better

Yeah the "Dickey's been good since the start of June" narrative is pervasive and not accurate.

You can't use xFIP on a knuckleball pitcher? It's the same outlier as using FIP and xFIP as MB, is it not?

Even if you adjust it a bit down to account for that, it's not pretty. He has some BABIP-limiting skill but strikeouts, walks, ground balls are still very important.

True, but I look at Dickey as a one trick pony and look at his results game to game, he was god awful up until 8 starts ago. That game against Detroit was more in line with how he's pitched up until then.

Man, his numbers suck, I pray he keeps trending the way he's pitched recently.

Pompey to be promoted to AAA, according to Davidi.

No surprise. I expect him back in the majors by early-to-mid August or as a September callup if he hits in Buffalo.

I'm pretty sure Pompey is being showcased. They don't want to bring him up to the bigs cause he'll be exposed once again.

Ouch, but true. I think Pillar is a great CF for us. How much longer is Pillar under control?

When you overrate a prospect to the point of absurdity, I have to question your thought process

I can't wait to see Stroman and his golden hair pick up his little brother, Devon Travis with the golden hair.

This black guy / orange hair fad is just brutal.
