Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Do you have a hat next to your computer out of which you pick names? The first thing that popped into my head was the South Park - Family Guy manatee tank.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Ok then how about delete all existing threads. Then create one General jays Talk thread, an All around baseball thread, and GDTs. That's all. This would please all the Nazis on this board.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Stop replying to him North go f*** yourself!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 The problem with your trade proposals is that we can't contribute anything when we have no idea why you're doing what you're doing List the problem, find the player that solves it, offer something fair that doesn't involve Navarro Thole Estrada Wolf Dickey Goins Ok so let's see what you or f***ing North have for proposals!
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 North go f*** yourself! I second this.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 BBBB reminds me of when Costanza came up with a plan for Yankees to acquire Bonds and Griffey and they wouldn't have to give up very much Bazinga!
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Ok so let's see what you or f***ing North have for proposals! You skipped step 1 - list the problem trying to be solved through trade
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Ok then how about delete all existing threads. Then create one General jays Talk thread, an All around baseball thread, and GDTs. That's all. allow this analogy. Why does the ugly girl with no personality go to the dead, dive bar only full of regulars, when she wants to get f***ed? That's where the ugly whores will get their attention. That also answers why good interesting topics like the Biomechanics topic is derailed. The whore gets his attention in a thread that only interests a select few. Around baseball is active everyday so my favourite troll posting his usual hilarious stuff can be ignored as it's quickly on to the second last page. As long as this thread is kept active by the guys that post Jays stuff every day like The Howies, Logic, ABom, Spanky (although he has zero ability to stay away from the whores) even HERPes and BBBB. The annoyances are likely going to post elsewhere making it easier to moderate and/or contain them.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Heres a couple for fun: 1. Shore up rotation AND bullpen. Target: Reds Cueto and Chapman Norris, Castro, Pentecost for Cueto and Chapman 2. Get a CF who can hit, but still play defense at a KP level. Target: Brewers Gomez. His contract is like $8 mill this year and next. When one of EE and JBau are no longer around team can build offense around Gomez/JD. Pompey, Smorel, Nay for Carlos Gomez SS Reyes 3B JD RF BauBau DH Edwin CF CGomez 1B Smoak C Martin LF Pillar/Colla/Saunders eventually 2B Travis Bench: Goins, Colla, Pillar, Navarro Rotation: Cueto, Buerhle, Hutch, Sanchez, Dickey (when Stro show comes back he pushes Sanchez to pen - he has innings limit anyways) BP: Chapman, Osuna, Cecil, Loup, Delabar, Estrada, Hendriks (weakest link gets demoted when Stro goes to rotation and Sanchez to pen) We'd still have Osuna, Sanchez, Hoffman, Reid-Foley, Tirado, Boyd for up and coming pitchers. PRINT DA PLAYOFF TICKETZZZ

Pompeys struggles haven't helped his value.

TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Right now... Pompey, Smoral and Nay = Chris Denorfia + RP Thats no better than what I proposed. Pompey is still a very valuable trade chip. Sub out Smoral for whatever it would take within reason. My point remains the same - adding Cueto/Chapman AND Gomez would be beastly.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I thought we have a General Jays FORUM. Whats the need for a general THREAD? Are you and the mods that opposed to people creating new threads? Because not every single tweet or minor article or instagram post from a Jays player deserves a new thread.

Jays should adds quality innings, dudes who can pitch 6 or 7 good innings by outing. Harang, Chase Anderson, Hahn, Kazmir
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Boras can now focus his dislike on another AL East team: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/wei-yin-chen-is-not-happy-about-his-demotion-and-he-may-have-a-point-005152575.html
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Well, this isn't exactly reassuring.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I don't f***ing understand how Dickey and Hutch have been so awful

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Huh? It's the other way around. It is - Hutch has almost identical peripherals as last year...LOB% and BABIP are way off. Dickey is crap.

I would imagine Anderson and Hahn would cost a lot, but bring on Kazmir.

Governator Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 If Pillar were to ever hit the DL our starting outfield consists of Colabello, Carerra and Bautista's sidearm. Gulp.

Gulp. that's why they should be acquiring a ben revere type asap. But seriously smoak hasn't played in the last 4 games? Is gibbons f***ing retarded? Put Valencia in lf and give collabelo some pine.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Cola ahead of Martin again f***ing insane. Never seen a player as lucky as him
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Why is it bad to ride Colabello's luck streak?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Why is it bad to ride Colabello's luck streak? His luck streak ended a week ago He has had a few bloop singles since then. He rarely gets anything more than a single. Usually comes up in key at bats
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 even his walk off was a fluke when was the last time he drove the ball?
