Thank God. I rather cheer for an injured Tolu then a healthy Reyes. God I hate him and his smile. f***ing Throws the ball way, then gives a wide grin like he just cured cancer. Howarth was absoloutely right about him. Doesn't care, and just loses concentration.

Cancer in the clubhouse, openly fighting Donaldson in the field. Separating players by promoting racial differences. Im glad he is gone.

Today begins a new era for the Bluejays.

You understand there are alot of people who laugh/smile to mask their embarassment right? Its a very common human trait. He is definitely not happy when he makes an error. Would you rather have him screaming into his glove or something? Some people are better at containing their anger.

Dislike him thoroughly as a player, but hate him as a person? That's kind of ridiculous, he's a great guy who just isn't good anymore

Best wishes Reyes.

Although I was occasionally shocked/pissed at your lack of range; propensity for flat footed bone head throws; wild hacks at the plate...you provided a lot of excitement on offense at times and were a very good team mate. The smiles and antics never bothered me and I love how fired up you were in tight games.

I never thought you were as anywhere near as bad as some on here. Father time just catching up with you and a bad contract which was never your fault.

Nah, just an *******.

That doesn't make any sense, you and Boxcar already have the ******* territory fully covered.

Thought he was a POS before he came to Toronto and am glad he is gone. All you needed to know about his character was on display when he sat out to win an NL batting title with the Mets.

Hopefully Jose "I am going to try to hit a home run every swing no matter what" Bautista is next.

I would not mind a similar trade as the Reyes one but this time involving Jose. Move him plus a prospect or two for different but similarly talented outfielder. Cycle the bad attitudes out of the organization. We have already ditched Rasmus, Lind, Lawrie, and Reyes. Only Bautista and maybe EE are left.

I would like to thank Jose Reyes for being overpaid, injury-prone, error-prone, arrogant, and f***ing lazy. Without Jose being what he is, the Blue Jays would have likely not made the playoffs. Keep smiling Jose. I'm sure that Achilles injury is going to help future negotiations.

I doubt he's worried about any future negotiations.

Oh I'm sure he is.

Dude is used to being a prima-donna, and his value is going nowhere but down. The millions aren't the issue anymore, but which seriously contending team is going to want Jose Reyes at short stop.

Jose Reyes will not be involved in trade negotiations for himself, if that's what you're implying.

Obviously he's an extremely difficult asset to move, and 32 year old shortstops usually don't see their stock rise. A good start to the year in COL next year would help boost his trade value. If he really wants out of Colorado, he may have to accept a move to 2B. If I were the Rockies, I'd be in touch with AJ Preller.

+1

San Diego seems like the team that would be dumb enough to acquire Jose Reyes.

Baseless accusations. Reyes was a stand-up guy.

Yeah, the only knock on Reyes is his sloppiness. Anything more than that and you probably need to take a pill.

I dunno, knocking his retarded haircuts shouldn't require medication
