My Mom kicks Gibby's ass. Later in the year, the woman with the hat, behind home plate, kicks Pete Walker's ass.

After JD questions Gibby's use of the bullpen, Gibby challenges him to a fight, which happens and JD trips on a seam in the turf and hurts himself. Both are labeled "competitors" and neither are disciplined.

Not even Gibbons/Walkers fault right now. But a change is necessary none the less. AA needs to do something to save his job.

yes... they need change. 4 pen arms, 2 starters and at least one outfielder.

but that aint gonna happen.

Nah I've got a single digit handicap bro

Damn, really?!? Good for you, man! I'm not a terrible golfer, but I'm certainly not great. I reckon my handicap is in the 12-15 range. I have a friend that I used to golf with who is a legitimate scratch golfer. It's really fun to watch and I definitely improved a lot just by playing with him.

Shea Hillenbrand was a good man.

And we chased him out of town

Because he's the hero Toronto deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll fight him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Captain of the SS BlueJay.

Shea Hillenbrand's numbers cratered after he left Toronto. And of course, his attitude problems ticked off the Angels the following year as well. Also, much of the reason he hated Gibbons was because he was being played as a DH because Gibbons knew he was a butcher at 3B and 1B. A late season surge by the Yankees, and a lack of pitching depth (boy, doesn't that sound familiar?) killed our chances in 2006.

Maybe Gibbons can fight one of the pitchers or the pitching coach Pete Walker.. something has to give!

Instead of fighting, Gibby might show up to the park drunk, run around the clubhouse with his pants around his ankles, then fall flat on his face after picking a fight with Russ Martin.
