o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I know posting stoeten typically results in calls for bans, but I enjoyed this. http://andrewstoeten.com/2015/04/21/jays-take-out-the-trash-13-6-game-fourteen-thoughts/ that's like reading the Os hangout. sad, stupid, s*** from a guy who's getting paid to write?
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 http://www.hittrackeronline.com/top_true_distance.php I've watched Arods home run and I don't see how that is further than Souza's blast or Edwins. Souza's was CF at Rogers Center off the 4th deck...
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I'm really pumped for this game tonight.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I'm really pumped for this game tonight. I had a commitment and missed the game. Clearly I'm bad luck so I probably shouldn't watch tonight....I always miss the good ones.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I'm really pumped for this game tonight. Me too, would be insane if a ball sails from one of the pitchers early...accidental or not.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Kevin Pillar had 4 DRS when I checked FanGraphs yesterday. He has 7 DRS after yesterday's game.

If there is a brawl, there will be suspension and there could be injuries, perhaps season or career ending??  Jays can't afford to lose players.

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I don't think anything will happen unless the game gets out of hand score wise. In this case Bautista, Reyes and EE out of game lol.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 The question is should I start Sanchez in my fantasy league? I'm tempted to drop him, trying to wait out if they move him to the pen soon.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I most definitely don't want it to happen, but it seems like a probable outcome. the jays should just keep it in their back pocket and take it up once things have cooled down.  there have been a lot of incidents this year. more bench clearings than I remember in such a small time span.  Sanchez probably loses pitches tonight and gets tossed after hitting someone and the benches clear out. I doubt there is more than shouting and maybe some pushing and shoving, but there have been a lot of players pick of bad injuries in the scrums. Baseball players are not the most graceful and there is always someone who falls and inevitably gets stepped on.  http://sportsgif.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Don-Mattingly-Tosses-Allen-Trammell.gif

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Got to laugh, you guys love to see your hockey idols punch the s*** out of each other. Hockey is a completely different animal and 99% of the time it's not the star player in a fight.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hockey is a completely different animal and 99% of the time it's not the star player in a fight. Can you imagine if the 26th man in baseball was each team's enforcer? They just sit there waiting for their stars to get thrown at to protect them. That would be entertaining as hell.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 "It's just wrong," the Orioles' Ryan Flaherty said. "It's not him in particular, but he's one of the game's best players and it's just sad that's the way he chooses to play the game." Why are the Orioles such self-righteous ****s? They also ignore all the s*** they start too - Manny Machado has cause plenty of trouble.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 No, I would definitely sit Sanchez if you can. He projects as a well below average starter. need to get Gibbons to read the fantasy spread sheets.... get a couple of our kids back into the minors before they get Drabekesque or Romeoesque
polar bear Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Hockey is a completely different animal and 99% of the time it's not the star player in a fight. I see a bunch of the guys are pumped up for it tonight(expectation of a punch-up) A wee bench clearing brawl now and again adds to the excitement,at most Jays games The Fifth- inning cleanup is as exciting as it gets.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I either want Sanchez to be really good or really bad.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I either want Sanchez to be really good or really bad. it's a hard one. if he's brutal he probably isn't in the rotation next time his spot comes up, but then we probably lose to the Os. tough call for sure.  maybe he can dominate for 3 then fall off the cart, but get taken out before any real damage is done??? lol

Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 According to the Orioles board Donaldson is a tool bag as well and that's why he gets booed at O's games and not because of the fact that Manny tried to start s*** with him lol. I love reading that place. Makes me feel like a smarter baseball fan lol

I highly expect a few of them to come in here if they can actually find it.
