I was thinking MLB would suspend Herrera for 25 games so "send a message", lol, but they only gave him 5.

 

They do need to find a way to deter all these beanballs. Maybe they should start by not warning the team that starts the craziness.

Yea don't go crazy with handing the batter a suspension when he runs out there and pummels Herrera's scrawny ass. In what other sport or aspect of life is someone allowed to intentionally fire a hard object at a defenseless person and be immune from repercussion.

Remember when the Orioles got destroyed 30-3 by the Rangers some years ago? I would love for that to happen again. Damn is that team annoying as f***.

This is why I thought MLB would make a statement by suspending Herrera, but then MLB acted like MLB.

they need to wait out Jimenez tomorrow. let him at least have a chance to be wild and get to the Os beat up pen as early as possible.

I'm fairly confident that our lineup will destroy Ubaldo. Travis may be returning tomorrow and our 3-headed monster is really heating up. Add in a hobbling Reyes, a cult building Pillar, and the Canadian contingent, and Ubaldo doesn't stand a chance. That being said, he will likely throw a no-hitter tomorrow.

Pillar is going to sour on people really fast when he doesn't get any highlight reel opportunities and his OBP drops below his BA.
