Thor vs Sanchize

Best Pitcher: Thor

Best Hitter: Thor

More Funny: Thor

Handsome: Thor

Philanthropist: Sanchize (Aaron walk the 8th and 9th hitters to improve the OBP of them both)

Stroman's Favorite: Sanchez

The only one that counts, amirite!?

Cards need a 1B.. no real ideas who'd be good for them though.. Adams is potentially out for the season:

RedSox acquire OF Carlos Peguero from Rangers for cash. Peguero batted .186 in 70 at-bats over 30 games with Rangers

Adam Lind will be a True Card

Max Scherzer must have 20+ swinging strikes in this game. He is really something.

Cubs are a huge strikeout team. Not surprising to see him dominate. What a great pitcher, might be the best in baseball at the moment.

Lol Greinke just stole a base. That's gotta be embarrassing.

Does that count for Yahoo? lol

Increasingly likely the Dickey trade will go down as one of the worst trades in baseball history.

It was the Beest.

Maybe a tad overdramatic

Bryce Harper continues to beast like none other

221 wRC+ that's sick and he leads the majors in WAR by a sizeable margin despite posting negative defensive value

Can't put stock in UZR this early and iirc, DRS likes him so far.

The whole lineup of these features is here. They are doing Norris and his van in July because of course.

Seriously his offensive numbers are off the charts.

I bet Harper would lead the majors in home runs to win about $1,000.

I made the best last season, forgot to do it this year.

Anyone know what the deal with Nick Martinez is? His projections say he should suck, his xFIP (4.88) and SIERA (4.82) say he sucks, and yet he keeps going out there and pitching shut outs and quality starts... completely throwing off all my DFS projections...

He is third in the AL in ERA (1.96) inbetween Felix Hernandez and Dallas Keuchel.

Is he just the most lucky pitcher in baseball right now or is there more to it?

I was marvelling at Harpers wRC+ yesterday and I actually went to Fangraphs to look up what the highest wRC+ that Babe Ruth put up back in the day...239 is the answer...Bonds was at 244 in 2002. I think that's the highest single season of all time.

I find it funny that Nelson Cruz has already accumulated 1.9 fWAR and Steamer predicts he'll end the season at 1.7.

I see him as a Wade Miley or Kyle Lohse type. Good slider, below average fastball. He's increased his sinker usage which explains the GB increase. He’s throwing more sliders, coming inside to righties way more, and he’s working a lot more quickly.

He needed to change something from last year so that's the biggest positive I can see is that it's different. Sustainable is another thing.

I see the increase GB% too but his ERA is not reflective of any of his other stats. It's a bit frustrating because all the opposing hitters keep coming up in my DFS optimals but I'm scared to pick them because he keeps going out and getting good results. I think it's a matter of time until he gets rocked, or perhaps he's doing something that defies advanced metrics??!!

1.215 OPS. LOL.

That 80 grade power finally being fully manifested. The Nationals have been (semi) patiently waiting for it...
