jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Question: Will the blue jays celebrate when they clinch a playoff berth much like we see in baseball all the time or would that be reserved for clinching the division title? We'll find out as early as Tuesday or Wednesday.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This time, no overturning. Kinsler walks off on the Royals with a walk-off HR. Jays only 1 out of top seed in the AL.

In general I can see more of a reserved celebration like how it was when we won the division in 1992, guys were happy they clinched but knew that the real target was the pennant after the 1991 disappointment. Will also depend on which fashion they win the game in, if it's a walk off at home for example or win it in some other dramatic way I'm sure the guys will go all out.

Surprised he still plays Still put up a 2.0 fWAR season this year. 5.0 in 2013. He's been really solid defensively the last 3-4 years.

He looks old and he's been around as long as I can remember. Turns out he's only 36 . Many older players. Hawkins and Colon might be the oldest at 42
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Mets better start teeing off CC soon... Harvey is only good for 1-2 more innings.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Saw it. Was surprised he wasn't run. CC hangin in there Lol apparently he was ejected, it was just a weird scene.
