Because Cueto shouldn't cost the farm. Cueto is a FA, and this team needs to add pitching.

Either AA sits on his thumb and watches this thing go up in flames, or he makes a move. There is almost no way to argue this team is playoff caliber as is.

I'm really bad at gauging trade value with prospects, so I won't even venture a guess.

If the Pirates don't score any runs in the top of the 12, I'm calling a Bryant walk-off bomb.

We'll see. E-Jax is pitching the 12th..and other innings after that until his arm falls off, especially with Coke being unreliable. And I don't think David Ross is available to pitch due to an injury..

Gose having a good night for the Tigers: 3-5 with a triple and an RBI. BA is up to .361!

Dude has a .523 BABIP right now. Must be inspired by Game of Thrones cause he's Daenerys Targaryen to the BABIP dragon right now.

Dude, that was totally lame.

Happ had a Happy night. Again.

He's certainly doing well so far: 3-1, 2.98 ERA, 3.35 FIP, 3.58 xFIP and 0.9 WAR.

The Lind and Happ trades. Oy.

Everyone here hated Happ, lets see all the armchair GMs come out now.

I also think everyone knew pitching at Safeco would help his numbers, and that these posts would inevitably follow.

And his road numbers are less inspiring:

1-0, 4.26 ERA, 1.263 WHIP. Basically, his numbers are Safeco inflated. If he was pitching somewhere like Toronto, his numbers would be similar to last year. Of course, the trade hasn't been great for the Mariners, as Happ can't hit.. something the Mariners need.

He's a fundamentally changed pitcher this year, but that couldn't really have been predicted. It was a great trade for the Blue Jays.

I never said it wasn't. I've been a huge fan of this trade from the beginning.

Are you saying he has fundamentally changed because he's throwing his off speed more frequently, allowing his fastball to play up a tick? Inducing more ground balls? IFFB%?

Stanton on some kind of sick tear with the dingers this week. Another almost 500 feet again today. Poor fella on such a s***** team, just as well for us to have him if he's gonna play on a s***** team.
