Tulo could ask for a trade this week

http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/troy-tulowitzki-agent-colorado-rockies-meeting-ask-club-trade-shortstop-four-time-all-star-051315?adbid=767376610042728&adbpl=fb&adbpr=611296005650790&adbsc=social_20150513_45699966&short_code=2zck1

He wants to play for a winner, so I doubt the Jays are an appropriate mix (it's an entirely different story whether or not we'd want him)

Do the Yankees have enough pieces for Tulo? Not too familiar with their farm.

Severino, Judge, Bird plus more.

Are any of those guys premium prospects (a.k.a. Top 15)? Because Tulo can demand a premium prospect if we talk about throwing salary.

Hypothetical dumm trade idea:

Jays get Tulo + Cargo, eat 50% of total salary

Rockies get Reyes, Travis, Pompey, and one of Norris//Nay/Pentecost

Tulo and Reyes swap positions. Travis is tough to lose but we sell high. Goins will be our starting 2B (with DJS slotting back into 2B in Buffalo)

Norris will hurt but Hoffman replaces him. Nay and Pentecost are future trade chips anyway due to our current roster.

CarGo out of Coors Field

That seems like an expensive way to not really improve the team. Tulo is a 2 win upgrade over Reyes ROS (cancelled out by losing Travis) and Saunders and CarGo are comparable.

s*** I didn't know Cargo was that bad this year and last year (although he may have been injured?) I thought he was his typical stud self.

That being said, I think Saunders will no longer produce as he did in Seattle. Knee injuries are bad for hitters and the turf doesn't help him one bit.

And yet he's still way cheaper. Its not happening bro.

Yanks could do it, Refsnyder, Severino + should get it done.

BTS might have an orgasm at the thought of Refsnyder going to Coors.

I have a hard time believing the Rockies accept a deal where Refsnyder isn't the +.
