HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Keep on piling Yankees. I hope the Red Sox bullpen gets knocked out and gets exposed when they face the Nats.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Wow, everyone advanced on that flyout.. surprised the Sox aren't pissed off at that! Of course, Mookie throwing to 3rd was stupid..
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Farrell's gonna ask to plunk Headley.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Farrell's gonna ask to plunk Headley. PLEASE DO IT. THis game is sooooo boring we need rivalry back
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 And what a catch by Betts! No need to do that diving catch.. you're down by 9! Don't risk injury! Hope someone talks to Betts about that..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Former Royal and Brave Kyle Davies coming in for his first MLB appearance since 2011. Smart move by the Yanks.. don't waste the bullpen in a 9-run game, which apparently Farrell doesn't know.. Breslow and Layne are 1 inning guys at most.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Say, what's your bet Holt is pitching the 8th? If he's not, Farrell doesn't have a clue that he can't afford to keep blowing out bullpen arms in a game like this..
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 A big thanks to raysjays/high85/digiblader/etc for all the updates.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 "I think Buck [showalter] is one of those guys that can win 95 games on an 85-win roster." 10 WAR manager!!!

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I wonder what Derek Jeter is thinking about with Gregorius.. at least despite the lack of range, Jeter made the plays! Gregorius has had a ton of mental errors since he became the SS for the Yankees..
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Just move Drew to short and call Refsnyder up.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 lol Gregorius is a disaster. Shane Greene is legit too.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Just in case you didn't already think that things like free agent compensation and competitive balance picks were really, really stupid... http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/04/dodgers-os-take-new-approach-in-ryan-webb-trade.html Dodgers basically bought the O's competitive balance pick for 2.75 million bucks. Yay competitive balance!
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 lol Red Sox using their closer in this game? Use f***ing Brock Holt.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Why is Farrell still burning arms? Mujica now in.. and proceeds to give up a HR to McCann. And he's got backup C Sandy Leon at 3rd...

Wright did them a big favour eating innings during the long game and last night Joe Kelly pitched 7 innings. They also have an off day on the horizon. They're fine.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Farrell's going to have a lot of explaining to do after this train wreck of a game. Better hope Porcello goes 7-8 innings tomorrow.. which won't be easy against that strong Nats pitching staff.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Just move Drew to short and call Refsnyder up. BTS and I are the same person fyi

Laika Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 What's more improbable or crazy, Andrelton pulling off this play or doing it right after that specific flashback on the broadcast? https://streamable.com/gcl5

Breslow's not available tomorrow, Varvaro's pitched back-to back, Layne's going to AAA.. and Ross is not one who can go multiple innings, after that disaster in Texas last season as a SP. Innings aren't really a good measure.. it's the number of pitches used. And Wright isn't even on the team now, as he was optioned to AAA yesterday.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Now that the Yankees have won I'd like to say f*** the Yankees, Boston, O's and even the Rays

Farrell's continuous dumn managing of the bullpen has put them in a disadvantage for tomorrows match!
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
